Pod Casts? Books on CD? Music?
So, when I'm working out, I realize I get pre-occupied with music and spend more time changing songs, than finding a rhythm!!
I have been putting books on CD, ripping them, and putting them on my ipod. But I also recently started putting weight loss pod casts on there!!! Ask Roni podcasts from ronisweigh.com and jillian michaels podcasts from her radio show are GREAT to keep you focused when you dont want to push anymore!! What do you like? What do you listen to? Any podcasts I should check out?? :) |
I like all of the "Quick and Dirty Tips" line, particularly the parenting, etiquette, and nutrition ones. I'm also a big Jillian fan.

My DH got me the Ipod Touch for Christmas...love it, love it, love it. Jillian has podcasts? Would you tell me how to find them or it and how to download - would I go to itunes? Yep, I'm computer challenged :dizzy: and appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance! http://www.3fatchicks.net/img/tulip-...0/135/174/.png |
It's funny, when I'm walking I've got to have music, but if I'm at the gym, I find that audiobooks work best for me. I tend to either get them from the library, burn them onto my computer and then onto the iPod, or through iTunes.
A good site for free audiobooks is Librivox.org. They're books that are out of copyright and are recorded by volunteers. Well worth a look. Podcasts - I haven't really looked into these. I must do this.... |

Craftsanity has a good podcast. Also, The Ricky Gervais show was brilliant.
