Sack SANTA'S Sad Sack ~ GUARANTEE

:clause: Is Coming To Town :hohoho:

And :hohoho: HE is carrying around an extra 5 pounds of :present: "gifts" (aka un-wanted baggage :sssh:) that :santa: HE doesn't need

Last year at this time, the day after :turkey: THANKSGIVING :santa: HE checked in on the :goodscale  beast  at 171.0 :carrot:

This morning :( sad Santa :( :trampo: jumped off the  beast  faster than :rudolph: Rudolph goes coast to coast on Christmas Eve

Yep, this :( sad Santa :santa: has gained 4 pounds since last Christmas....dang! Checking in this morning at 175.0  proves once again that this :clause: Santa's weight :nono: does not! go down with the stock market :dizzy: .....go figure.

Bottom line....:rudolph: Rudolph is just flat :faint: tired of hauling Santa's extra "gift" around.

After a little :snowglo: discussion in my own mind....now that can be :badbat: scary....this :hohoho: SANTA has received the OK from his little :elf: elves :snowfight to.....:snow4: get the shovel out...

:candy: GUARANTEE A 5 POUND WEIGHT LOSS FOR CHRISTMAS :candy:

So here WE go....bringing the TEAM back for the Christmas rush for a 5 Pound Guarantee Loss... you have the :snowfight ELVES word on it!

This guarantee is going to make :mrsclaus: Mrs. Claus very  happy

And this SANTA just might have a little :xcheer: cheer on Christmas Day

So what do you say? Are you going to join TEAM :rudolph: RUDOLPH :rudolph: and lose that 5 pound extra :present: package you have been carrying around?

blondebritbrat17 11-28-2008 10:09 AM

GO Team RUDOLPH!! I'm ready for another five pound loss myself by X-mas day.

Yesterday I did very well. Only had part of a brownie and two chocolate chip cookies and tried two bites of two desserts that were only so-so so I threw my dessert plate in the trash can. Been sick the past two days so haven't gotten to walk since I've been resting and catching up on homework and studying and general house work which is still a bit of a work out scrubbing tubs and toliets if you're on your hands and knees whew.

Have a great day!

RangerChic 11-28-2008 10:30 AM

At this point, I need to lose about 6 pounds to hit my Christmas goal of 175. And, I know I can do it! :)

PrettyPaula 11-28-2008 01:21 PM

yay! i get to join in one of these awesome threads again!!

i wanna lose 5 pounds by xmas for sure! x

cakses 11-28-2008 02:08 PM

The scale laughed at me this morning. I am sure it is excess sodium from Thanksgiving but man it was up way too much for one day (and I even exercised a little yesterday, what gives?)

I made my ticker yesterday. Goal is 170 by Christmas (or as close as possible). I know if I work hard this is easily attainable. I just have to work out more often either before or after work. I am focusing hard to enjoy the holidays without enjoying the junk and getting buff as well!

EZMONEY 11-29-2008 01:06 AM

It's a little past 10pm here and I am starting to get a bit hungry since dinner was 4 hours ago....grabbed a big glass of ice water. At my age I'll be up a few times tonight peeing anyway :)...at least I hope I get up.

Had a decent breakfast ~ lunch was a hit and run on some salami and chips during Christmas light hanging ~ dinner was left-overs from Thanksgiving...so I will not be surprised if I am up or the same in the morning.

No desert...beer was at a minimum :)

BRAT ~Praying you shake that sickness that keeps hanging on  Hope your mom was better for Thanksgiving. Get that homework done, enjoy the days off.

SHANNON ~You should get the support you need right here...this TEAM can bust 6 pounds down no problem!

PAULA ~Well look at the pretty girl that snuck back in ;)

CAKSES ~You have been doing so well getting back on track after a lapse or two...170 will be a perfectly realistic goal!

HAVE A GREAT SATURDAY TEAM :)

iriswhispers 11-29-2008 02:11 AM

go team Rudolph! Thanksgiving was not so bad but tonight I caved and went along to the peer pressure for Dairy Queen. I got a small blizzard, but that's a LOT of ice cream!! they need a smaller size! (or i need to put half in the freezer...)

EZMONEY 11-29-2008 08:04 AM

Tough to carry that freezer to DQ with you though IRIS.

You are going to be just fine....you keep trying and it shows!

I'm trying to get down to 175 too, but the last few pounds have come off more slowly than the first hundred. If I make it into the 170's by Christmas I'll be happy. ;)

That is to be expected DRINA...you are doing great. You will get to the 70's! If you get there by Christmas :rudolph: RUDOLPH will give you an extra lap around your block!

blondebritbrat17 11-29-2008 03:40 PM

Just got back from the grocery store. Got lots of yummy but healthy and fast breakfast options like yogurt, cereal, granola and etc. So I'm excited about that. I used to really like these things back in high school and I was quite slender back then. I also got some things for treats/snacks and a rice crispie is only 1 point I just found out which is great since sometimes I want something sweet but yet crunchy at the same time. Still figuring out points and all of that for some of the foods I eat. I still haven't been exercising due to this sinus infection moving up into my head now. I woke up today and finally feel the antibotics kicking in just in time for me to go back to work! :-)

Going to go watch some tv now and relax. Have a great day!

weegreenlassie 11-29-2008 09:51 PM

Alright, I'm in for another 5lb guarantee ;) My goal is to be 160 for Christmas (I hope i hope!!) ;) Let's do this thing!

tinamae 11-30-2008 09:30 AM

Count me in! I kinda feel off the turkey cushion in the last 2 weeks or so. I started celebrating my birthday a little early and never really stopped celebrating. ::p:

I will face the music tomorrow and get on the scale. I don't expect any :dancer: but I will do it anyway.

My goal is to drop a pound or two by Chirstamas.

mtiger 11-30-2008 12:11 PM

5 pounds here we go. It can fly off with Santa on his journey. I have been under 198. I am currently 200, so my goal for X-mas is to be under 195. 192 or 193 would be terrific, but I'll take what I can get. :gift2:

SweetCurves32 11-30-2008 12:57 PM

I'm aiming for 9, but will be thrilled with 5! Count me in! :rudolph:

EZMONEY 11-30-2008 05:01 PM

Well TEAM :rudolph: RUDOLPH was able to work a little of his :wizard: magic and get my sad sack down a pound this morning :)

That was no easy chore considering I had my 2nd :thanks2: Thanksgiving yesterday. My kids, daughter in law and the kidnapper came for the tradition at my house. I had the full service plate again with plenty of beer to wash it down. Really need to work on that one

BRAT ~ Great job on the breakfast choices....much better than the nachos I have had 2 of the last 3 days :)

KAT ~ I am pretty sure the TEAM can swing that scale down to 160 :)

TINAMAE ~ OK birthday over...:celebrate: Happy belated by the way...re-focus for Christmas :)

MINDY ~ :rudolph: promises me the 200's are a thing of the past! :)

SWEETCURVES ~ Hey :rudolph: says no problem on 9....you just need 2 "free" entries into the sleigh! :)

Have a great kick-off to your week gals!

Okay, Dec. 1, here we go! Stick with me :rudolph: and nudge me along - I think I may need it. It's going to be a busy few weeks but I'm hopeful that the busy-ness will keep me from overeating. Sometimes I think it's easier for me to stay OP in social situations, because I'm better at moderation when other people are watching me eat... drinking around others is a completely different story;).

What I have to work on is getting in my exercise! I think it may be down to half-hour workouts at home for the next few weeks, so I have to get the most out of them. Gotta be a foxy lady :mrsclaus: for the holiday festivities!

Have a great week, everyone! :coolsnow: these little holiday pictures are too much fun! =)

cakses 12-01-2008 01:39 PM

Still up 3 from ticker from a Thanksgiving weekend of gluttony. Just finished 2 miles outside though and am back OP with eating. Hoping this isn't an actual 3 pounds I need to burn off and that it's a lot of bloating :)

kestrel 12-01-2008 02:34 PM

Count me in! This will be my first time joining one of these threads. :) I'll have my weigh in tomorrow morning (since I completely forgot today, the long weekend left me confused as to what day it was!) so I'll see where I want to end up.

PrettyPaula 12-01-2008 03:36 PM

i have missed you guys alot!

Im trying to lose this slowly and gently, with very little pain so to speak, changing my way of eating and re-educating myself.

Im even reading self help books! the thin commandments! anyone else read it?

My big struggle is breakfast stuff... ideally i need something i can eat in the car on the way to work, i dont like bananas so theyre out...? any ideas chaps?

just put a lovely veggie dry gratin in the oven, courgettes (zuchini to you lot!) beef tomatoes, red onions, garlic salt and pepper a little olive oil and some half fat mozerella for the top. all with a grilled steak. yum!

mrsaugie 12-01-2008 05:01 PM

count me in on this one too. i have found that in the past when i have done this i have really made progress. that means down to 180. yes i have gained 10 lbs since the last one that i did which was quit a long time ago.

mtiger 12-01-2008 07:15 PM

Hey!! Everybody is all pumped up and ready to lose some pounds before Christmas. I was down just a bit today, back under 200. I did a 2 mile jog today and eating has been good. So I hope I am on the downside and ready to make some progress.

Look out Santa. We are going to be looking good.

blondebritbrat17 12-01-2008 10:01 PM

Well I'm biting the bullet and being honest on here for some accountability. I am up three pounds. I am not sure why so I will be going over some things and looking at some nutritional data and reweighing again in the morning time. Hopefully it is just water weight. It probably wasn't the best idea to weigh myself in the middle of the afternoon today either so hopefully that is what it is. But I was feeling lighter lol which is why I dared to do that!

I am looking for some good cookbooks on how to cook vegetables. So I am looking on amazon. I think that would help me greatly to feel a bit more full in the evenings since I get tired of having salads so much. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

have a great night all!

EZMONEY 12-01-2008 10:24 PM

down 1 pound....Rudolph was easy on me yesterday.

I will get back here tomorrow....a lot to do tonight.

Our TEAM rocks!!!

valpal23 12-01-2008 10:59 PM

alright alright I havent been on a challenge since October! I'm in!

blondebritbrat17 12-02-2008 07:52 PM

Well I forgot to weigh myself this morning to check to see if it was just water weight or not since I woke up rather late for work. So we'll see tomorrow morning. I've done pretty well today food wise. Just got back from christmas shopping for myself. Just got some wireless bras from Lane Bryant that I can wear around the house and to sleep in. Lane Bryant is having a buy one get one half off sale on their bras just FYI. I've had the same jewelry box since I was 8 years old and it was just bursting. So we got me a grown up looking jewelry box which I am all excited about and now everything on my bureau looks so much nicer. I was so tempted at the mall to get a chocolate chip cookie but didn't and then we also passed a Hickory Farms stand that usually sets up shop during the holidays and I was tempted to stop and browse for some good cheese but no we just kept right on walking. So I'm proud of myself for that.

Have a great night!

mrsaugie 12-02-2008 08:22 PM

well just saying hi and that every thing is fine here and that i did 90 min on the trusty gazelle since it is getting kinda cold to walk outside at night here. i must say winter is definatly here i Wisconsin.

EZMONEY 12-02-2008 09:29 PM

Angie and I had turkey gravy over mashed potatoes tonight. We froze the rest of our Thanksgiving leftovers for now.

Time to get back on track!

RUDOLPH....it just might be a bit of a rough ride for 5 this month!!

SweetCurves32 12-02-2008 10:35 PM

Not weighing myself until Sat, but wanted to check in. Am sticking to plan, for the most part, and feeling good at the moment. Hope you all are doing well. :rudolph:

madaboutcoupons 12-02-2008 11:02 PM

I am so excited...I am new and recently committed to my weight-loss. I've never dieted before (as my slowly increasing weight let me know.) My new motto is that "it's worth it!"

blondebritbrat17 12-03-2008 06:15 PM

Well today was rough at work due to lots of people being absent. But I figured out what caused my weight gain I think. I got some new snacks and I've been munching on them a bit too much and they are really high in sodium yikes. So I'll cut back. But I've only gained 1.4 so not too bad. At least I caught myself this time. I may start weighing myself everyday to help myself. Not sure about it but am thinking about it.

Anyways have a great night!

mtiger 12-03-2008 09:10 PM

Haven't posted in a few days. I am in a funk. I am stuck and just keep going under and over 200 by a bit. Nothing seems to be happening. My body is so stupid and gives up the weight so slowly. It really gets on my nerves sometimes.

I know i need to keep going and keep my head up. I just wish I could shake myself and make this body give up some pounds. BLAH!!!

iriswhispers 12-03-2008 09:39 PM

not feeling well today.. as a result I stayed home and ate whatever seemed appetizing. not helpful for weight loss!! I got some PM pills that will hopefully help me feel better AND sleep (i haven't been able to sleep for a couple nights now, it's been driving me crazy!!).

EZMONEY 12-03-2008 09:56 PM

Looks like I need to go get a doctor!

sweet_talker 12-03-2008 11:40 PM

hey everybody, i hope i'm not joining in too late. i'm going to shoot for 5lbs but that would perhaps be a christmas miracle as i don't have that much to lose...looking forward to losing it with y'all though :)

mtiger 12-04-2008 06:42 PM

Gary- I think I need a doctor too. To surgically remove some body part so I can lose some more weight. What do you need help with?
