Julie... deal!

I wasn't up for the running today but I went to the park and walked the loop which is about 3 miles.

How did I miss this thread?! Count me in EZ. I can't remember my number so guess it doesn't matter which one you give me. I want to hit 5K each of the 4 days I have off for the holiday. :crossed: hope the weather cooperates and I can get outside at least 2 of the days!

Jeannette311 11-09-2008 08:49 AM

I'm going to practice today and see how long it takes me while walking.

EZMONEY 11-09-2008 09:37 AM

SUPER!

CYNDI you are in!

Jeannette311 11-09-2008 12:10 PM

It takes me about an hour to walk it. I was on an 8% incline and went from 3.0-4.0 mph.

EZMONEY 11-10-2008 10:17 PM

Not bad there J-311!...not bad at all!

EZMONEY 11-15-2008 07:02 PM

Gary- I didn't know you had a turkey trot organized. I see my favorite number is not taken yet. Can I have 35?? I will undoubtedly do mine inside since i live in Mich. It's cold in Nov. and I'm a wimp.

Consider it a done deal MINDY

How are you doing, Iris? Wednesday and Friday I felt like sleeping in, but I had to get up and run and keep my deal. Thank goodness!

My boyfriend was visiting this week... so I failed at running!! We did go walking at the park a couple of times at my insistence - there's a path that's a little over 3 miles. Don't worry, though, I will be right back at it tomorrow! =) Rock on for getting out of bed and running, I'm so glad you stuck to it!

I must be getting the hang of this running lark. They say it takes 28 days to form or break a habit. Well, it's been 8 weeks for me, but I think I'm getting there.

Yesterday, we suffered through this. Today, I woke up and looked out my window at 6am. To check for damage? No. To see if it was raining too much for me to go for a run!

It wasn't, so I did.

Walking in a park does a person good :). Sounds lovely.

ok... who's running today? I know I am - getting right to it after my class is over!

JulieJ08 11-17-2008 02:09 PM

I think I had my best run so far this morning. It seemed just normal-tough instead of extra-tough ;). And my pace was a bit faster. ~2.75 miles. Good thing I didn't use the air quality, or lack thereof, for an excuse. My body just seems to need to increase distance and get better very very slowly :o.
