This morning I was 146.4. After walking on my treadmill, 7 miles I was 143? How does that happen???? I'm sure I didn't jump 3.4 pounds just from walking, anyone know what the heck this means??? I figure I'm still 146.4.
When you exercise, you burn energy stores in your muscles. Burning that and expelling the attached water can lead to a weight drop. Your weight will probably go up again when you refill the stores.
Mostly sweat, with a small amount of loss from glycogen stores released. Eat or drink and it'll come back.
And with that much loss, you probably need to drink a good 7 cups of fluid to replenish...make sure you get some extra water today! (1 cup of water = .5 lbs)
Thanks for the responses, that makes sense......7 miles is not too hard to do when you are watching tv. Just get your fav. series and put it infront of your treadmill and walk. I've watched the Sopranos this way....any recommendations for any good shows to keep my mind off of what my body is doing?? I think I'll start a new thread...
