Week #1

  • Just a short cheerleading post. It makes me feel good to type it, that's the only reason I am doing it.

    I haven't been weighing myself but I started exercising this week for the first time in years...slowly of course. But I bought gym sneakers and a lock AND I've been using them. So that's a start! (30 min cardio 3 days/week, 30 min core 2 days/week. Today I went for a jog!)

    But the biggest thing for me is I have eaten any of usual diet! LOL. This is an amazing thing for me. Usually just the smell of bacon is enough to reduce me to tears. Not one slice of pizza, which is the mainstay of my diet. (I made some "pizza" at home with some skim mozzarella but I mean NY style greasy cheesy pizza!) But I feel good! 7 days down, 357 to go hopefully.
