Question Losing weight and Loose skin

Hi I'm just starting my exercise regime today, and am wondering what happens to all the loose skin when you lose weight. Does the skin shrink back? Thank you to anyone who answers!

If you do a search on "loose skin" you'll see tons of threads on this. There's also a sticky post here, in the Body Image board:

Kim,

Starting at 168 and aiming for 135, I don't think that loose skin will be much of an issue for you, really.

It is usually more of a problem in those who have a lot of weight to lose-who are starting out very obese.
