My company is moving out of state so I have started looking for a new job and I have an interview tomorrow. All my good suites are miles too big so I finally went shopping last night and (drum roll please) found THE perfect suit:
Kind of a dark, smokey brown, pinstripe (almost looks charcoal instead of brown). Skirt hits exactly right - just brushes the top of my knee. The way the fabric is cut and sewn gives it just enough detail to make it interesting instead of just a blah, plain old suit but not overdone or fussy. TOTAL power suit and (I swear I never thought I would say this about myself but...) I look awesome in it

I actually could have gotten the 6 - and if I were 20 years younger, I would have
but felt, since it's for an interview, the fit of the 8 was more "dignified"
. Total case of vanity sizing because I still can't get into my ancient size 10 jeans - but sure feels good anyway
