  • I weigh daily, religiously - every morning. I track it through Fitday PC and love seeing the results on the graph. Even when there are 'blips' - small gains (and it happens often) - I don't worry over it, it's natural, the trend moves downwards over time and after doing this for 5.5 months I can now understand why the small rises happen. I feel as though I'm more in tune with my body this way.
  • Weekly. Sometimes I can't help myself and I'll do it mid-week too. But it drives me crazy if I think about it too much, and like another poster I just cannot afford another obsession. At some point I will probably go to monthly--that's what I did the last (and first/only) time I lost weight. Monthly weigh-ins are great, because there's such big progress to see.
  • I weigh daily, first thing in the morning, except for TOM. I don't bother then because I retain so much water that week. Though sometimes I still get on the scale just to see how much I'm retaining.

It used to drive me crazy, but eventually I got used to the fluctuations and now I can handle it. It's great for me to see if I'm veering off track, but I know all too well how easy it is to obsess when things aren't going your way.
  • every morning....... it is a part of my day but only in the morning!!!
  • I weigh myself every morning. It's nice to see a drop. I've been pretty steady but I've only been watching my calories for 2 weeks and a few days so I don't expect anything drastic. I do see fluctuations but overall I'm coming down. That makes me super excited!!!

P.S: It's more of a habit now than an obsession. Also, I like changing my ticker so I make sure to keep on plan just to change the number.
  • I weigh daily. I used to weigh weekly, but then I'd feel bad if I didn't have a good loss and I'd have to wait for seven days to see if my body had made up the difference. At that time, I didn't have a scale, so I'd stop in my doctor's office and use hers. Then the nurse would write the weight down on my chart. That was a lot of pressure! So I bought a scale.

Weighing daily lets me see patterns in weight fluctuation, plus it takes the pressure off to have a 'good' weigh-in. If I'm up today, then maybe I'll be down tomorrow, but I'll definitely be down sooner or later.
  • i weigh myself daily
  • Daily for the win.
  • Daily all the way. It's the only way it keeps me honest That and a blog of what I stuff in my face. Seems to keep me aware of what I am doing to myself.
  • I started weighing myself daily , but I think I'm going to switch to weekly ... If I can stand it ! lol
