Default Sweat Stains?

Okay .. so I was wondering if anyone else does this...

Prior to my after-workout-shower I look at the clothes I was working out in to check out all the places where I visibly sweat.. (and I consciously try to not workout in black or any color that would make it hard for me to see which parts are wet)

Sounds wierdo I know... but the thing is... seeing the sweat stains on the inner thighs of my workout pants/shorts or on the back/neck/ or whichever part of my t-shirt really helps to me visualize the fat from those areas of the body literally melting off and that motivates me more than just about anything else to get on that treadmill for the next workout.

Also, it keeps me smiling throughout my shower instead of being upset at what my body looks like I think.. I am changing it!

Hi,

Can you please explain how the sweat belt helps with water retention? That is against anything I know about why bodies retain water, so I am curious.
thanks.

I have one of those snug shirts that wicks away sweat. It gets soaked through, except for the outline of my jog bra. Looks really funny!

The more I sweat the happier I seem to be! Usually after I change my clothes I hold up my workout shirt to my husband like it's a trophy of some kind! So I am right there with you.

I love love love to see my sweat soaked clothes. I never really thought about it in terms of 'fat leaving', (now I will though!) but it always reminds me of junior high and high school and how all the really fit people who actually participated in all the 'fun' stuff were so athletic, and..well...sweaty. So I think it's always been a secret fantasy to be like fit and popular and fun like that - and it's represented by sweaty clothes.

That sounds just so silly and weird. But it's true.

I dripped last night on the treadmill. It made me inordinately happy. I would have been mortified a couple of years ago.

Ha - after my run every night at the gym - I go to the bathroom, wash hands, splash water on my face, then turn around to see what I think of as the very sexy sweat stain that typically runs from the top to the lower portion of my back. I love it....never thought of it as fat going away - just as another accomplishment that I couldn't have done a year ago
