Default I Was FIRED By 3FC

OK...I wasn't fired.....but seriously how long do you think they will keep me around if I don't bring in "business?"

I am on my 3rd 5K....the first one we had over 200 participants....

for our 3rd one here we have less than 40 so far....less than 20 days away...

What is it you want from me? Is the 5K...3.1 miles too much?

Do you want "less".....

Come on gals...I need this job! .....Sign up please!

With what 3FC pays me, and the $2 I have in my pocket, I can get one slice and half a warm beer down at the mom and pop pizza joint on the corner...only because they know me!

Sign up....do something good for yourself!

Yippee for 3FC 5k!!

Try something new! If you have never done 3.1 miles, try 1 mile. You can walk, dance, roller blade, bicycle, skip, run backwards, whatever! Just get Mooooooovvvvvvvinnnnnggggg!

It is great for families! Do you have kids at home? Are they bored and spending too much time in front of the TV? Get them to go with you!

Is there a hiking trail nearby you have always wanted to check out? Do you live by a lake or ocean? Slather on the sunscreen and give it a shot!

Are you too busy to do this?

So am I! But excuses suck, and that one is a really bad excuse!

I used to think that people had to be coordinated, athletic, in shape, experienced, etc., to do an organized sporting event.

That is so not true! All it takes is a little bit of courage and some determination!

My plan is to bicycle this 5K.....which will be a challenge as I am a total bicycling newbie.

If you are reading this and you haven't signed up yet, give it a thought and then give it a shot!

Rah rah ree, kick 'em in the knee! Rah rah rut, kick 'em in the other knee!

On my last 3FC 5k, I was joined by Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Russell Crowe. I had to slow down a bit so they could keep up, of course, but hey, you do what you gotta do, right?

3FC 5Ks are so popular! You can be a part of one too!

Josephine, I love you dearly but keep your hands off Russell! He is mine and I am not planning to share him! LOL
The guy is so incredibly sexy [drool drool]!

Gary,
I am very surprised that the interest dropped so steeply. I think it is a fun challenge - obviously, it would be even better challenge if you could, umm, come here to Ontario and support me IN PERSON - I wonder if it's because it's summer and people are starting to get scattered to various vacation destinations (although as we know, vacation destinations usually come LADDEN with calorie-rich foods and drinks so a good 5K walk/run would be very beneficial).
Hang in there!
