Default why my lunch makes me giggle

I have been making my self bento boxes for lunch lately and i just love it. As strange as it sounds it has really change my relationship with food. Most nights i spend about 20 minutes preparing my bento for the next day. I focus on combining healthy items and making them look delectable! I find it very relaxing.

Most importantly having good feelings about my lunch has totally changed my diet. My lunch is no longer the enemy, I can eat as much or as little as i want.

As silly as it sounds my little bento box has help me to not get depressed and hateful toward my self because it helps me to not eat things i know i'll regret.

heres my bento for today it's not my fanciest but it's tasty!

It doesn't sound strange at all. Feeling good and not dreading the food you're eating is essential.

Now... I just have to figure out how I can get you to come cook for me! Because that really does look delicious. Yay for good cooking.

oh yeah i guess that would be good

in the pink section there is green beans with sesames seeds

in the blue section there is red pepper strips and a hollowed cucumber with baba ganoush in the middle

in the green section there i a veggie sausage patty, parsley and cilantro, a quesadilla made with a low carb tortilla and a little guacomole.

in the yellow container is a stew that is made of vegetables with cubes of paneer cheese, cashews and raisins.

on top is my little piece of sugar free low carb chocolate.

all total it come out to be about 700 calories and 16-19 carbs. I am a student so it last me from 10 am till about 8 pm. Most of the time i still have things left over by the time i get home.

Very nice. I really think it helps to make your food look nice as well as taste good. I find making my lunches relaxing, too.

Have you ever been to veganlunchbox.blogspot.com?

They have SO many cute ideas in the archives for bentos. The woman was making them for her vegan son to take to school. She's writing a book now, so you have to go into the archives to get the material.

Oooh, I love putting thought into the lunches I make for myself. I was thinking I ought to invest in a good box system, though, as I'm tired of blowing through cling-wrap (and reusability is a plus). Must look into this bento thing....

Very beautiful presentation, I must say, and your lunch is making my stomach jealous
