Default I'm back!

I'm back!

I didn't really post much before, I'm more of the lurking type.

I got married and moved 3,000 miles away from all of my friends and family about 2 months ago. My husband is in the military so every 2-3 weeks he leaves for 2-3 weeks until September when he deploys. Since I've moved here I've gained back 10 lbs I need to stop this before it gets any further!

I just can't seem to get out of this binge cycle that I'm in. We don't really have much money and even though we can go shopping at the commisary and whatnot, it's still really tough. I cook for just him and I and it's so hard to find cheap and good recipes.

Luckily I just got a job at one of the gyms on base and I can go and workout there before or after my shifts. So we'll have more money and I'll have no excuse not to workout, lol!

I guess it just feels like starting all over.... and I don't really know what to do or where to go from here.

Help?

That's awesome you have a free way to use a gym! Take advantage of it!

Start with a few simple goals....like drinking more water, and eating more fruits and veggies, and exercising a 2-3 hours a week. After a week or two, you can add a few more goals.

You CAN do this! And keep updating us on your progress, ok?

Hey there Lovelypurple!

back!

Definitely time to get back on track before 10lbs turns into more. Take advantage of that gym. And pick up slowly where you left off. It is sort of like starting over. Which is a good thing! Begin anew

You definitely aren't "starting all over", I mean, look at your incredible accomplishment! You can stop that 10 pounds in its tracks and take them right off again. You know you can!

Are you at Bragg? A job at the gym should help keep you on track just don't talk yourself out of workoing out after your shift. That was my downfall when I started working in February. Now I am back on track and feeling better.

Lejeune.

It says you're in Ft.Lewis? I just moved here after living in Washington State the past 10 years.
