  • Quote: Someone suggested putting key lime yogurt between 2 graham crackers and freezing it - I keep meaning to try it, sounds divine.
    That sounds really delicious.

I love getting a skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte from SB. I feel like I'm having a delicious off-plan treat.
  • I plain FF/NSA yogurt with a little cocoa powder and a little Splenda stirred in -- really helps tame the chocolate -- most of the time, anyway.
  • I also do the dark chocolate. I buy a bar of organic dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa) and eat a square after lunch each day at work. The bar lasts about 2 weeks or so. I am a choc-a-holic as well.. and this REALLY has been satisfying! Also with this organic dark chocolate i am getting a ton of antioxidants.
  • I like Ghirardelli 60% cocoa chocolate chips. 16 of them are a serving, and I can add a few nuts and/or stir them into yogurt for a treat in the evening.

  • I agree with the dark chocolate.

It satisfies your craving, and I personally tend not to binge on the dark stuff.
  • Sugar Free Dove Chocolates may work for you. I get them at Walmart, they are in the candy section, hanging in bags up on a pegboard with all the other sugar free candy. They are about 40 cals each, and I like the chocolate filled and raspberry filled. They have an ingredient in them that acts as a laxative if you eat more than about 2 a day, so they are self limiting. The "serving size" says 5 candies, but I wouldn't eat that many...been there, done that, no thanks, lol! Other good choices there are the SF Reese cups and the Russel Stover coconut bars (or they're called something like that, it's like a mini Mounds bar), both taste good, very much like the real deal, and these are in the same calorie range of 35-40 cals each. These work for me, because I know I can only eat 1 or 2 for the whole day. It satisfies my craving for something sweet, without blowing my plan for the day.

Once you get used to sticking with one or two a day max, then you could go for the dark chocolate with extra cocoa, as some have suggested. I like that, too, and have no problem sticking to just one piece now, but at first I needed the SF ones to keep me from going overboard on it.

Another good option is chocolate pudding cups, and I also like Yoplait light yogurt...it's not chocolate, but once you get away from eating the regular candy and a lot of other sugary things, it tastes very sweet and is a real treat!
  • I am a chocolate fiend!!!

I like sugar free/ fat free jello chocolate pudding cups (60 cal), slim-a-bear ice cream cookies (110 cal) and now I have found Glenny's Chocolate Chip Brownies (100 cal, 7g Fiber)

Just can't over do it with the snacks. I couldn't do the Dark Chocolates in the house because I was to tempted to eat the entire bar in one setting. Also find other sweet things to munch on, I love frozen grapes and dannon light and fit yogurts and yoplait thick and creamy yogurts. I also like to drink an 8 oz glass of chocolate soy milk for a snack.
