Default Well I am back

After a couple months of not coming into any of my online help forums and giving up on the idea that I will ever be fit or at normal weight I am back. Why you ask ... well because no medical insurances will cover me because of my weight . Heres the story ...

My husbands company offers insurance but it is horrible and is very expensive has a $100 CO PAY and hardly covers anything! Well we thought it would be better to get private insurance so i called around to ask for quotes but nobody will insure me because of my weight. I am a "high risk." My husband and kids qualify but because of me we dont. So my husband is going to have to pay $500 bucks a month for krappy insurance for the company until I can lose enough weight to get a better insurance for around $300 a month.

Its really sad and embarrassing when they tell you "I'm sorry maam but due to your weight we can not cover you because you are a high risk." After about the 4th turn down it really hit me. I have to do something.

well if i ever heard of motivation then thats it, i think what is motivating you really helps with staying on track, and with a goal so affirmed as that, then i hope this time it will be easier.i myself often ending up taking breaks coming back, regretting the break, but hey, im still going. i guess good luck, and if u ever need anything we are all here

I was able to get health insurance for myself a few years back, but I had to pay more because of my weight at the time. I still do--it will take a year at a "normal" weight before the company will consider removing the rider. So, I know where you're coming from. Yes, it is an excellent motivation!

Welcome back!!!
