Default confident and gained

I think i got way too confident this weekend and gained 2 pounds. I lost my first 5 pounds last week and this weekend we were out and about and wasn't able to workout. I gained 2 pounds, it's better than 10 though. I have started doing my (before it was brush and go) and I started wearing makeup again. I seen that "look" in my DH eyes again and I even turned a couples heads this weekend too. I'm very happy. my goal this week is to lose another 5 pounds. i did it last week, i can do it this week. I didn't splurge this weekend but still didn't workout. my DH admitted to me that he's scared for me to lose weight because he thinks i'm gonna get way too confident and leave him for someone else. my daughter is sick so I can't do my walking routine. I have to do my workout video. I just don't know what that would equal to as walking in miles. I'm happy and excited. I am almost to my pre-pregnant weight. woohoo.

S/C/G: Lost 50 lbs, regained some

Hey... I wondered whether that would happen. Lots of folks lose a nice batch of pounds, and then they are so happy they... well...

I forget what food program you're following, but that's as important, if not more so, than your exercise program. Of course, both are needed.

Hang in there!

Most of that fluctuation was probably water. You didnt gain 2 lbs of fat this weekend. In all likelihood you had shed some water with those first 5 lbs and some snuck back on.

Just remember, long term, 5 lbs a week is not realistic, so stick with the program and just take what comes!

I'm not really on any specific diet program, just watch what i eat and exercise more. I kind of watch how many calories i take in. I stay away from the fatty and fried foods. I say, I'm doing pretty good though for not having a specific diet program. Yeah, my husband said that it's probably water weight and that I shouldn't get discouraged, just keep on doing what I'm doing and don't give up.

Some of it is water weight. You learned a great lesson though - if you get overconfident and eat off plan, your body will show you who is boss soon enough! So follow the three-pronged plan for recovering from off-plan moments...get right back on plan, learn from it, and let go of the guilt! Move onward and upward.

I agree with the others. Way to go on the 5 pounds. Good luck with the rest.
