Can I join you? Just for today I will go directly to the gym after work. No excuses. I can do it even if I'm tired, just for today! :carrot:
|
That turned out very well. 1500 cals of pretty good food, a nice walk, I did some legs ... I'm proud of yesterday.
You? |
YES! I`ve started out okay since I couldn`t sleep last night and i didn`t go out running. But, I had a healthy oatmeal with rasberries for breakfast and a two egg white ommelete for snack. I`ll keep my portion control going for lunch, and dinner. Even though I am craving sweets (stupid period). Today, I can definitely do this.
|
Yesterday doesn't matter any more! and tomorrow is another deal.
Today is where it's at ... and Archy, you are doing fine. I had a tangerine today. It was nice and sweet. Yogurt, ff cottage cheese and fruit so far today. I've walked, done arms and abs. |
Just for today, I've been on plan all day and I'm going to eat a nice chicken dinner at home (from the 101 ways to cook chicken thread!). I'm going to pack my lunch and workout bag as soon as I get home from work so I'm ready to hit the gym in the morning.
|
well tomorrow (since its 9pm here in england) i will choose a healthy salad for my lunch at school and go to trampolining class after and then have a healthy dinner and go on a walk with my dogs.... oh and try to go on exercise bike for 15-30mins
|
Just for Tuesday ... I can eat only what's in my lunch bag. And I can work and work out too. Lots of folks do. I can too.
|
Just for Tuesday I'm going to sweat it in the gym, ignore the sweets in my desk drawer, rev up with some Pepsi Max and let loose in the dojo on my brown belt grading.
I can fuel with nuts, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, salad, turkey and whole-grain granary bread :T I can do it just for today  |
Definitely.
Just for today, I will drink 10 cups of water, eat no more than 1,300 calories (I know that is not much, but my weight is getting stubborn, so...), and I will NOT forget to do my daily abs exercises! |
Susan, this worked! I was driving home last night thinking about how the only thing that was going to satisfy me was a Culver's shake, or maybe some cheese bread. I thought about this thread and said, nah, I committed to not eating that today, and it will be there later if I want to work it in.
SO, just for today I've already worked out, I had my on-plan breakfast, I will eat the lunch I brought, and I will enjoy my dinner at home again this evening. I will lounge on the couch for a long time this evening if I want, too. |
Okay...time to really re-commit myself to meeting my goals.
Just for today.... I will drink all my 8 glasses of water Eat my sensible meals, not going over 12200-1300 calories GO TO THE GYM again!!!! I can do these things!!! Great thread susanb!! |
Just for today I won't feel discouraged by the lack of support I feel, by feeling ignored and unheard. What matters ultimately is what I think and feel, so just for today, I'll stand strong, even if feel like I have to be an island!
|
Ain't that SusanB a genius?
It's really helping today - I have the complete munchies, partially because I really AM hungry, but part because I've been having a junk-fuelled week and I'm just used to it. Breaking the habit today. Just for today ;) |
What a nice positive thread. Thanks for starting it!
Just for today... I can walk to and from school, up and down the hills. I can eat the healthy meal that is planned: either the soup I made yesterday or the quiche that my husband is making tonight. I can eat a spinach salad with the above meal. I can drink 2 large bottles of water, at least 2 liters. I can be forgiving to myself for eating bad while my friend was visiting last weekend. I can do all this for today. :) |
Thanks Frus honey :o
Soulbliss ... you are never alone. We're only a few mouse clicks away 24/7. Another good one folks. I only ate what was in my bag and I went for a wee walk at lunch! |
