  • This isn't something you asked about--so I apologize in advance for getting off topic. But you might want to get it straight with your fiance right now that he's NOT to push food on you! Although he's "well meaning," this could easily lead to problems later on...

    Jay
  • Yes you are right Jay, I know his intentions are good but sometimes I'll be doing really well and he'll bring me home a double cheeseburger or something and since I suck at fighting temptation I eat it and then I'm mad and I ask him not to do this becasue he should be supportive, he says he's just trying to make me happy.
I'm going to have another talk with him about this when he gets home I think.
I'll just tell him if he really loves me then he'll want me to be healthy.
  • Another thing on the wedding dress front-because something was mentioned about it:

Wedding dresses are often in European sizing, so you will almost always have to buy a wedding dress that is a couple sizes larger than what you would wear in your normal street clothes. It is couture sizing, and if you wear an 8, your wedding dress might end up being a 12. It is just the way the sizing works because they don't run like normal, everyday street clothes.

I just didn't want you to faint when you started trying on gowns...
  • Tell him to bring you home a nice, fresh package of decadent ripe raspberries. Or order you a box of tangelos from Harry & David. Or a mango or a pomegranate or some other fabulous fruit that will please you AND your health goals.

    Flowers are also calorie-free IIRC.
