Sheila, i pick a very reasonable goal. If I generally tend to be a one pound a week person, which i am, then for the month I shoot for 5. But if i don't make 5 and only make 4, well at least i'm 4 pounds lighter. The important thing about mini goals are not to get down if you don't make them. I got one for july 20th that i just do not think i am going to make, but hey...even half way is better than no way. i'll just make a new goal after that one. just as long as i have something to look forward to, i can keep going. and may i say, you are awesome yourself!! you are such an encourager. You are so sweet. I think you are doing a great job!!! Keep up the awesome job.
By the way...i was down one pound this morning...YaY!!!!! Only 2 pounds away from my june goal!!! |
I sortaaaa kindaaaa lost a bit of a pound. I was 162.6 before TOM, gained up to 165 - 167 (yeah, I was freaking OUT!). Then I lost two days ago and came down to 163. This morning I weighed in at 161.8, so I'll count it as a loss! :) But I'm not changing my ticker until I see something below 161.5 (that way, it's definitely 161 and not close to 162). :D
