  • Once in a blue moon, I drive the 45 minutes to a lovely, huge, upscale grocer. The produce department is fabulous. I enter the first aisle and just absorb the fresh atmosphere. So much amazing food to discover!
  • An upscale grocery sounds like a real treat. We have Trader Joe's a couple of hours away. I, too, love the greek style yogurt that they sell. I have strained the low-fat Mountain High brand that I can get at my local store and find that pretty good, too.

In the next few days, we are going to a "Pick it yourself" place to get peaches and whatever else they have. I am so looking forward to it!

We had a neighborhood get-together at our house this weekend. I ate a few things that weren't exactly what you would call "clean". I found that I really didn't enjoy the food like I thought I would - like someone mentioned, I wanted the "good" stuff.

We get our water from a well out in the desert ('cause that's where we live). We also have a stand-alone ice machine which is continually producing fresh, odorfree ice. Even a glass of ice water can be an epiphany!

Have you ever tried Fage yogurt? I'm addicted to this stuff. I eat the 2% version. It's 130 calories of pure heaven.
  • Hm, haven't heard of it, lynnm39. Where do you find it? What part of the country are you in?

  • I haven't tried the FAGE, but I am going to next time I go to TJ's. I was shocked by the price and decided to try the house brand first.
  • I live in the northeast, and I can always find Fage at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Now, even my local ACME has started carrying it.
