Isn't it great when you suddenly realize that the GYM and EXERCISE, once dreaded, feared, and avoided at all costs, are now regular events in your life. That you're starting to ... (dare I say it?) like to exercise; that sweating feels good! That you recognize people at the gym and great each other. That going to the gym takes priority over watching TV or sleeping in a little bit later.

Isn't it great when even your MOM starts to notice your shrinkage?!

These are great! :) I have also noticed that I LOVE to sweat. I get the weirdest looks when I say that to someone, but it's true. Man, you know you're working hard when that sweat starts dripping...

Isn't it great when you're not afraid to look in the surrounding mirrors at the gym when you're working out? :)

Hee! I know it, cause I love it too! I really never thought I'd be one to say it, but I love getting my sweaty on.;) Maybe it's because it's proof that I'm working hard?

Your grandmother tells you that it really looks like you've lost weight!

You can feel the bone on top of your shoulder (it's my new favorite bone).

Your stomach feels empty but not hungry, and you feel light and energetic.

You complete a workout that really kicks your butt, but that would have killed you a month ago.

I can definately relate to the sweating part... I havent been to the gym in a while but last time i went the SWEAT WAS LITERALLY rolling down my face like little rivers... it was absolutely shocking - but - I absolutely LOVED IT... and I mean really LOVED IT. It's empowering, it's like you're taking your body back and owning it!

That's the word I was looking for, seranab: Empowering! It is really, amazingly empowering. I just want to step off that elliptical and announce to the world that I am WORKING it, MOVING it, and MAKING it strong! I feel like I can take on the world and kick it's bootie, if necessary ;).

And it's it great?! :D
