Hi all,

Is there anybody out there single, in their 40's and is losing weight?

I have been bouncing around on this board for a long time, and can't seem to find the group that really clicks with me! I love everyone to death.. but threads about kids, husbands, in-laws and Sunday school just don't resonate with me.

Here is my story. I found this board a few years ago and was highly motivated to lose weight at the time...I knew then that I also had a binge eating disorder.. but thought that if I just dieted enough.. the binging would go away.. it didn't. And after losing about 30 pounds.. I gained it all back plus some.

I had to deal with my eating disorder first, which I have.. and am now really ready to get the weight off.

I dont' do weight watchers.. I have my own program of sensible eating that works for me.

I life in NYC, am single, 43, work in publishing, play music on the side, and am an avid walker.. in fact.. I plan to walk the DC Marathon on March 24, 2002.

Anybody out there that can relate to me????????
