Default 10 lbs to go and Need some Support

I have been dieting off and on the past year with about a 30 lb weight loss result. In January had had major surgery and have lost another 20 lbs. My problem is getting myself to eat at all again. I have been so sick that I have not really been eating at all since Jan. I need to get into the habit of eating a healthy balanced diet everyday, so that my body can recover from surgery. I also need a slow work-out routine to get me moving again. Anyone with any suggestions??? Please help, I would love to be feeling healthy and happy again. Thanks.....

Start with some filling and healthy foods that are easy to eat. Yogurt mixed with walnuts or almonds is good, and the nuts have lots of calories for just a tiny portion, but they have the healthy fats so very good for you, as is the yogurt, which is easy to get down if you cant eat. Also try protein shakes that you make in the blender with milk, powder and banana or other fruit. Liquidity things that are high in calories and nutrients will stimulate your appetite. And just start walking for exercise.

Maybe look into getting a pedometer (a good one's only $20!) and slowly easing yourself into walking; you'll be able to monitor just how much you're doing, so you can carefully increase your distance incrementally. After a couple months' time, you'll see yourself building back up to good healthy ranges (and might then be ready to progress to more strenuous forms of exercise.)
