Despite my best planning efforts, yesterday ended up a bust calorie-wise. We went out to dinner last night, and calories were the furthest thing from my mind because...

Jeff proposed to me yesterday!

So we were out to dinner to celebrate. We're eating out again tonight (to celebrate exactly 3 years since the day we first met in person), but I will be more conscious of what goes in my mouth.

Anyway, for the rest of today:
  • oatmeal (2 packets "lower sugar")
  • apple
  • frozen meal (either Healthy Choice or Lean Cuisine)
  • orange
  • dinner out--likely an entree salad (romaine, avocado, chicken, diced tomato, roasted corn, dried cranberries, light on the dressing), 1 small roll, and 1 tex mex eggroll (appetizer shared with Jeff)

Congrats Jill!!!

My planning - wow I haven't done this in a WHILLLLEEE. Last night wasn't too bad for me food wise. I'm not counting calories, even though I know the caloric content of almost everything I eat. I'm doing portion control for now. Then I'll tweak with calories.

B - 1 bowl Instant oatmeal maple & brown sugar YUM
1 slice of lemon yogurt cake that I made last night that was the pits.

L - 1 bowl of three bean salad super easy and yum

D - Hmmm... dunno. More 3 bean salad and probably 1 whole wheat tortilla with roasted bell peppers and onions

Did 20 lunges this morning. Want to do 20 more plus ab work and squats.

hehe, no ring yet--we'll go shopping for that together (and perfect timing--I'm getting a manicure this weekend).

So much for my frozen meal for lunch--a coworker wants to take me out to celebrate my engagement. It's my choice, so I will see if there is a Panera nearby since they have their nutritional info on their website and should be quicker than going to a full-service restaurant since we're just on our lunch break.
