Morning Ladies
How was the weekend for you all? Mine was pretty good, except I ate too much yesterday, which doesn't bode well for weigh in today...oh well, live and learn I guess. I wasn't even hungry, just bored I think. I need to hop on the treadmill of death more often when I'm bored instead of crawling thru the kitchen cabinets!
JoJo, how's the back today? My ex MIL sounds like your current one....she would load big grocery bags with stuff when we went to visit. My mother does that too--she can't let us leave without taking home something from her pantry...it's a mother thing, I suppose. My current MIL lives in Texas, so we don't see her very often; when she visits, though, she heads to Walmart first thing to buy us stuff for the house. My mom is coming for Thanksgiving, so I will have to really CLEAN the house next month, instead of giving it a lick and a promise like usual.

Not that she cares, but I do.
Teresa, sounds like you're on the right track again! Good for you! I'm bad about not taking time for me, either, for exercise, and I don't know why; I make time for everything else. I need to make it more important to me...I do okay with the food most days, but my exercise hasn't been on schedule yet. We have a walking trail about three blocks away, too, and I don't get down there often enough. Well, something to work on for our challenge!
Carol, hope your cold goes away soon, and you can enjoy your visit with the sister! I haven't been in the Halloween candy much this year, either; I bought stuff I don't like. It seems to be stuff that DH likes, though; I keep finding wrappers on the workstation. I hope we have some left by Wednesday! Come back and check in with us as soon as you get a chance.
Skeeter, how're the animals? I have had a big fat yellow cat for about seven years now, who likes to go outside. He disappeared about two years ago, and we thought he was gone for good. Well, he showed up on the front porch Saturday night, with a little gift (small, dead, stiff mouse) for us. He's bigger and fatter than ever...he's eating well somewhere!

He stayed around a day and then took off again. Silly thing...food must be better at the new digs, I guess. I wanted to sort of cut back on our zoo, but it isn't happening, at least not yet!
Jen, how're you doing? We grind up the leaves in the fall, too. A lot of people in our neighborhood do...it's a lot quicker than raking, and no splinters from the rakes!

Have a good one!
Tobey, did hubby come home yet, or is it today? Sounds like you've been keeping busy! I checked out that organized home site and bookmarked it for later, when I can read more. I love things like that, although my home is less than organized! When I was single, I had one of those spotless homes--I even dusted my light bulbs. Martha Stewart would have been proud. Now she would run in horror....it's hard to keep up with the dirt from three other people....especially two small horribles and one packrat. But, I wouldn't trade them for the neat house!
I'll have a neat house again some day, when the girls leave home and Jeff gets too old to make much of a mess!

I love your little Piglet attachment!! He's my very favorite. Jeff like Eeyore, so we have lots of Winnie the Pooh stuff. (Not for the girls, for us!)
Mama, where have you been the last day or so? Hope you're doing okay! We miss you when you're not in here every day you know! Did you watch the football game Saturday? My beloved Huskers won!

I thought about you, though, and I do like Oklahoma, just not when they play my Huskers! Every other game, though. I had to rub it in to Jeff, too, since Texas didn't beat Oklahoma this year, and they kept mentioning that during the game. Can't rub it in too much, though; he takes his football very seriously.

Hope you have a good one!
I hope I didn't miss anybody; if I did, I didn't mean too! It's early, you know....the mutts are already up; time changed, and they went to bed last night at 7:30!
Love you all!
Sally
