Don't eat anything greasy, or you will be running to find a restroom. Seriously.
I was on xenical and meridia together for about 6 months. Successful, but I didn't change my lifestyle and gained it all back...
You must remember that it is just a tool and not a magic pill. If you eat a low-fat, low-cal diet without the pills, you will lose weight anyway.
As long as you are on this med, you need to take a multivitamin as the body will have less opportunity to absorb fat soluble vitamins and you need to make sure you are getting plenty.
When I took this, I ate slimfast, low-fat yogurt, and lean cuisines. I meticulously counted my fat grams after a few issues with grease. Since it is so expensive, one way to help is to NOT take the pill with everymeal - if you have meals that only have say, 2 or 3 grams of fat, there is no real reason to take it. Save it for meals where your fat grams are higher (for me this is always my evening meal).
Good luck!
