I did it and survived!!!

  • It's no secret that I hate veggies, but since starting my journey early last month, I have began finding ways to incorporate them into foods. I put them in my chopper and add them to eggs, or turkey meat loaf, and I've found I think I maybe able to add raw spinach into a wrap. It just goes to show that the mind is so connected to what goes in our mouths....I don't understand why I didn't do this years ago!! It is so empowering for me to be incorporating veggies. Just wanted to share!
  • My kids aren't real into veggies and I hate the texture of some, though I no longer eat meat so I really have to get a variety of veggies. Anyway, I use my chopper a ton so that I can get variety of veggies, and also hide them in foods so that my kids will eat them too! It really is a great way to get more veggies in, and the chopper doesn't totally obliterate them so you still get the fiber benefits. Glad you found a way to incorporate veggies!
