Hey all,
Just got a juicer... I cannot believe that carrots can taste that good. (tomatoes, too!)
Am very excited, but also would like more options than carrots and celery (I'll say it now.. I hate beets!) The juicer came with a "recipe book" but most of them have fruit juice in them, and I want more veggies.
Anybody got any ideas or juicy experiences they'd like to share?
Thanks,
jennifa

I usually add apples to the carrots when I juice them especially if the carrots are on the older side. It helps sweeten them.
Hi Judi
thanks for your response. I've been playing and here's something good:
1 lemon w/o skin
2 oranges w/o skin
1 apple w/skin
All together, a wonderful after-dinner treat. I also tried 2 lemons, an apple, and some strawberries. It was so tart I'm amazed I can open my mouth!!! Would not recommend using more than 1 lemon at a time unless you are making lemonade or mixing it in something else.
Cannot get enough of tomato juice, though. I have also found that spinach leaves are good for juicing and adding vitamins.
