Default Going veggie

Hi
Ive been thinking about going veggie for some time now, Im doing a sort of GI diet and eating lots of pulses, lentils, beans, etc. Im also taking xenical.
My weight loss seems to have slowed down and the xenical nurse told me its because i need to eat more fat and protein even though I told her I was having lentils, chickpeas or beans every day, plus milk and yoghurt, she says thats not enough, and that I should include chicken, meat or fish Ive made an appointment to discuss this with my dr because im not happy with that advice.

Has anyone here got any tips on how to increase protein intake? btw, I dont like tofu, but I do like all type of dried beans and peas

I have egg beaters (I'm not sure if you have them in the UK - they are 'egg substitute' made from egg whites) for breakfast every morning, and sometimes I supplement with protein shakes. I use whey protein, but one of my sisters uses soy powder. Works for me!
