  • Hello To All the Veggie Chicks!

    I'm new to the site here and am in awe of the possiblities.

    I've dealt with the weight loss issue for many many years and until not so long ago had pretty much put the whole idea on hold because it just felt like something I could not accomplish. But now due to a medical condition I have to watch my diet. I'm hoping this fact along with my particiaption here will be what I need to turn over a new thinner leaf. My weight loss philosophy is gradual, permanent lifestyle change.

    I look forward to sharing ideas, struggles and successes with all of you! Oh yes, and I'm a lactovo-veg.

  • Welcome Junkatarian! Please feel free to join us in the Eat to Live, it is a diet which is not gradual but you might like it?? Anyway, it's a low-fat vegan diet for 6 weeks. I was an omnivore before I started so I hope this will inspire me to make a lifelong change to a plant based lifestyle. Hope to see you there!
