Roasted Daikon Radish's

  • Daikons are found in the produce section of your grocery, or if you have a chinese grocery, they have them all the time.


    Peel the radish and then cut into chunks (as if it were potatoes)
    Plunge into some ice water to crisp them back up.
    Drain and toss with olive oil and herbs...what ever you desire.
    I happen to like garlic & oregano.

    Roast at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes.
    Turn half way to brown the other sides.

    The Chinese use this like we use potatoes....I like them raw as well.
