Default Weekend in Eurodisney!

Hi,

Just looking for a bit of advice here, I'm not sure if anyone can help me but it's worth a try. This weekend my husband and I our off to Eurodisney for a couple for a couple of nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I'm really looking forward to it, but am a bit nervous because of the food available to me there. I count calories for my weight loss plan, and I have been doing really well, but that's sticking to the food I know. The trouble is that having been to disney before I know there's not much choice when it comes to what I'll be able to afford to eat, and it the past I've lived on hot dogs and fries there.

I considered taking food in but apparently you're not allowed to do that and I don't want to spoil the weekend by being a fussy eater. Anyone else been over there while on a diet and have any suggestions for me? If I do have to eat a certain amount of unhealthy food will it do a large amount of damage to my weightloss? I want to have fun and not worry about my food, but I also don't want to come home and feel really guilty about what I ate.

Any suggestions?

I've not been to Eurodisney.....however, I have been places during my weight loss journey where healthy eating is difficult. What I do is have a week off plan every couple of months. And I just eat and relax........I aim to have a healthy breakfast, and a healthy dinner and then one "cheat meal"

I think the main impact to eating off plan is psychological rather than physiological. You are not going to gain back 28 lbs in a weekend, but your brain might tell you that you will (mine does!)

I plan on my weeks off to maintain, rather than lose. The next week it's kinda hard going back to eating clean again, but then you get back into routine and it becomes easier.

I have never been either but I believe there is a bit of choice on food? More than burgers? Maybe there is a pasta place or somewhere you can get a salad or jacket spud? If no, then "Bite the bullet" just for the wekend. We will forgive you!!

I would say as it is a special occasion to just enjoy yourself and work off the calories later!
