Hi - can I join this group? I've been hovering around for a bit and have joined another group but it'd be nice to join a British one too!
I've been away for a week on holiday to Torquay and I came back to a 6 pound gain!!! Yikes! But then I was totally bad so it's my own fault. Too many ice creams and candy floss and chips and pizzas. I had already decided that I was off my diet for the week and see what happened. I did find the most amazing fish and chip shop in the world in Torquay though - BEST chippie chips I ever had! Even though they didn't do steak pudding. So I now have a new goal - it HAD been 153 by Sept 3rd - back to school, but no way will I make that now. I should make 140 by Christmas but rather than have a big goal like that, I'm cutting it in half. My new goal is 152 by my birthday - October 28th. Last time I went away in June I put on 4 lbs and lost it in the first week back so I'm hoping that at least some of this weight will come off as quickly and I will make 152 WAY before my birthday! It's been a difficult summer weight-wise but I'm putting at least some of it down to spending more time in bed in the mornings and not working (I'm a teacher) therefore not burning up as many calories. As also some of it is down to eating ice cream! Once I'm back to work it should start dropping off again! |
Oh no.....I feel that my pound from last week may be blown!!!
My mother in-law tried out all her wheat free recipes on me over the weekend and I felt a bit mean keep saying "no thanks I`m trying to cut down". Oh well...take the rough weeks with the smooth..wait and see what happens tomorrow am. Kim |
I've staggered my way to Boots to see the scales say one pound up from when I got weighed at SW two weeks ago. :tantrum: The Boots scales are always different from SW ones anyway. I can't be bothered going to SW.
Robsia  ignore my grumpiness I'm in a foul mood! Mmm chippy chips. :T |
