internet wasn't working again today, but I needed to see how everyone was doing.
Lou - sorry that you've been having a bad time, it's horrid when your boss isn't very supportive. If you are doing the MSc at a different place will the days you need off from work be different too? You could try talking to your HR department and seeing what your position is. I was under the impression that the NHS was supposed to be supportive of efforts to gain more qualifications.
Sarah - sorry you're still ill. I'm glad the dogs came back, and I hope by now the kids have reappeared with the leads as well
Michelle - we've all done the yo-yo diet before now, but as Sarah said, this time you HAVE stuck with it. Don't lose heart, if you stick to your plans, get back on them after a blip and ask for support when you need it you should be able to keep the weight off for ever.
Frus - I'm beginning to think that you are mad. Hummous!?!?
Helen - hope your knee and hip are getting better
I'm just back from my run. I did 2 miles of slow jogging/fast jogging/not quite sprinting/walking in 24 minutes and I am now beginning to compose myself again.
I'm p'ed off with my sister. I bought her a prezzie coz I saw it and knew she wanted it, and I know she got it, but I haven't had so much as a "thanks" by text for it.
Got to go and cook a complicated meal now. I had Helen's recipe for Aubergine and Pine Nut Pasta last night, and there was enough left over for lunch today as well. V. nice, and seems to get even nicer when eaten cold the next day!
