Default Cottage cheese *drools*

I've had my fair share of cottage cheese and its OKAY.

well I was in Sainsburys to get some food, from which I havent bought any cottage cheese before, Im not fond of sainsburys, as a cheap student I prefer Adsa and Tesco.

I get 2x 250gram pots at 48p I thought I could add them to a recipe or something.

I get home start putting together brown rice, chicken, whey, mushrooms and broc and thought, hmm extra protien? cottage cheese!

I opened it to find a creamy consistancy and omg it was so freaking yummy!!!
Its Sainsbury's own 'Be good to yourself' Natural cottage cheese, less than 1%fat and I must say is was the best cottage cheese I have ever had!!!

I totally recommend trying this cottage cheese!!

I get through about three and a half of the 650g tubs of Sainsbury Be Good To Yourself cottage cheese each week.

I don't much like any cottage cheese when it still looks like cottage cheese but I don't mind it when it doesn't look like itself any more and, of course, its a great way to get in a lot of cheap, low fat protein - and I'm on a nutrition plan which requires that I eat five or six small meals each day all of which sould have some low fat protein.

I have it for breakfast mixed in to porridge oat pancakes and for lunch whizzed up with a little sweetener and water and then poured over a kind of homemade muesli combination as a sub for milk or watered down a little bit less and have it with strawberries. (yum!) Most evenings I have some either as a dip mixed with spices, green chilli, garlic, cucumber, mint or coriander or as a sub for mayo or watered down with a little water or lime juice as a salad dressing. At the moment I'm going through a phase of whizzing some up and adding it to juiced veg or fruit to make a smoothie for elevenses.

Looking at today's diet diary, I've eaten cottage cheese at four out of my five meals.
