Have you seen the adverts that David Beckham is in? They always seem to try and make him 'sexy' - whereas, to me, he's quite good looking but in more of a boy-next-door kind of way.

Becks can look quite good when he is 'styled' but not my cuppa tea.

I shall write in! Maybe. Actually the letter is mostly about how nice it is to see a pic of Posh smiling and not pouting! :lol: But there is the pic of Tilly and The (smiling) Becks with it.

Not just me then that thinks he's not as pretty as he's made out to be. Although I shouldn't say that because my other half has been accused of looking like him - although oddly, in one job he had, his nickname was 'Brad Pitt' (it was other men called him that I think it's a man thing as I couldn't see any resemblence), and more recently, someone said he looks like Charlie Stubbs, the evil builder in Coronation St.

I think Beckham got the reputation as 'pretty' simply because all the other fussballers are really repulsive - and everything's comparative. I do know the name of another fussballer - Wayne Rooney - simply because he's so monumentally ugly, you can't really forget that face once you've seen it. Anyone stood next to him would look gorgeous.
