I'm going to get my haircut this evening - much more satisfying!

(I didn't actually watch it, but basing my assumption on every other football match I've ever watched...)

I don't even know the score. Until they get knocked out, I'm aiming at never knowing the scores of any of their games... Will just sing LA LA LA very loud and cover my ears.

Please knock them out, somebody!

On the way back from Spanish some drunken people came up to me and yelled "if you want to know the score it was ......"

On one hand, I clearly looked like someone who didn't know (which I didn't), but what made them think I actually cared?

Got at least two more games to go!

Eurgh... Knowing my luck they'll be in it right to the end!

I hate football but I still want them to win - just so long as noone tries to persuade me to get interested in it.

My ex was fanatical. He used to watch all the footie on the TV so he would never go out on a Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon (this was the days before Sky and video recorders). On one occasion he refused to go to my sister's engagement party because his team, Chelsea, was going to have an entire game shown on Match of the Day. Yawn!

My wedding day clashed with the televising of the Cup Final and when he found out he asked his Dad to arrange for a TV to be at the reception and all his family (including the MIL from ****) stood around watching it. My Mum was furious and actually told me that I had made a HUGE mistake in marrying him - and she was right!

I am so embarrassed! Being American, I've never really watched soccer...errr, sorry, football:o ;) before and I've only intermittently watched a few bits of matches here and there. Personally, I love the highlights when you just get to see the exciting stuff. Anyway, I watched the entire match between England and Sweden and actually enjoyed it (well, until Sweden made that last goal). That's not why I'm embarrassed. That night (and last night too), my dreams were filled with David Beckham! *hangs head in shame* They weren't sexual, in fact, I can't even really remember them in detail at all but good lord, I feel like an adolescent! I've never even thought he was all that and now, he's popping up in my dreams?:dizzy: Oh well. Just thought I'd share a very unimportant little tidbit from my life. My husband has taken to calling me Posh now. He thinks it's hilarious. I'd rather dream about Colin Firth!
