I tried SW about 3 years ago. I think I was a little like Heva's OH in how I approached it (although not quite so much) and I was also trying to diet because my doctor had told me I should and not because I felt it was the right time for me to do it, so I don't think I was really in the right frame of mind for it and was happy to find any loophole to show it was useless. Despite eating for Britain I managed to lose 4lbs the first week, 4lbs the second week, 3lbs the third week, 2lbs the fourth week and then gained 1lb a week for the next four weeks. The woman in charge said I had to start weighing my free foods on green days or try only having red days, so I gave up.
I do know someone who lost a huge amount of weight on SW and kept it off so it does work. She's in maintenance now and she eats green days during the week and what she likes at the weekend.
