The last time my dog encountered a horse was on Ainsdale beach, it was the biggest race horse you've ever seen, apparently they exercise the Ainstree horses there, he had a good look and then sat staring at it, brows furrowed as if to say 'my my, you're a big doggy!'
|
George's problem with them goes back to when he was about 6 months old and tried to take a look at a horse by putting his head through a fence, the horse got startled and tried to stamp on his head. He hasn't liked horses since. You can't blame him really.

Hi all. I got up early this morning and rang my sister in Oz. I got to speak to my little niece, who isn't quite 3 yet, she was so cute on the phone!!
I went to yoga then had a steam and a spa. Lovely. And I am all bendy and relaxed now. It's raining here, it was so nice this morning, and now its horrible. We had hamburgers and chips last night. I did a healthy version, and it was so yummy! |
I keep dreaming about veggie burgers with the cheap ketchup that burns your mouth from my local pizza/kebab place, the good bit is that if I eat in my dream I wake up full!!!
|
I'm already wondering what I can eat when I go to Blackpool to see Radiohead  I'm thinking wine and pizza in hotel room :T it is sad that's the best thing I can think of doing. :o :D Oh and I am still worrying when I get to eat when I go see Morrissey by coach.

when are you seeing radiohead?
Cat well done on all the job stuff its always nice to be in demand. All you lot are making me feel seriously guilty about not exercising enough. |
May! :D
:hat: :cp: I'm rather excited. ;) |
I'm very jealous!
I've just been out for an easy 4.4 mile run, I might go to see some of my friends at a rugby match later if I've got some cash. They've not seen me since September, and I feel like showing off to someone who's not seen me for a while ;) |
Veggie, May will soon come round - why don't you pack yourself up something to take with you?
I left the house at quarter to eight in very warm sunshine and I just got back when the clouds started to come over and it looks like its going to rain. I'm still shaking - the dogs and I nearly had an accident. I've had it in my mind for a couple of months that when we had a nice day I'd try walking to the next town. Using G-Map it shows it as being about 8 miles, making a round trip of 16 miles - about 4 hours - which would be okay but I didn't realise that the path across the Moors has been dug up. I looked around and saw another trail not realising that it was a quaking bog. (11 feet deep peat bogs which quiver like blancmange but look like flat grass). It was a good thing I had Fred on a lead as a punishment for harrassing nesting birds - he was walking in front of me and completely sunk and I had to drag him out by his lead. I don't want to think what would have happened if George had been in front or Fred had been off his lead. VERY scary! |
Ooh, that sounds really scary! i'm glad he was on his lead and you could drag him out.
|
Oh goodness what a dramatic walk, glad your all ok.
I've had a busy day, been swimming this morning, lunch at the pub this afternoon, and then off to the gym. It was good, really quiet, that's football for you!!! I wanna see radiohead!!! I never go to live bands any more :( |
You need to see Radiohead ;) You should get tickets for the proper tour when that happens and go with meeee (I haven't actually paid for my May ticket yet but money grows on trees you know....) :p  :D
|
It does indeedy!!!
Hey Veggie, are you a night person too? |
Nights are horrid. I love my bed, but because I work the late shift, by the time i've wound down after work it's like 4am! Grr.
