I've been playing round on the internet and found cheap flights to Berlin on Easyjet the weekend of 24th September.

I've also found this, on the 24th September, in Berlin...

Can someone please kick some sense into me? Quickly!

Is the Berlin marathon that easy to get into then? My friend has just been turned down for the London marathon for the 3rd successive year (despite having excellent times for seven previous half marathons). He's hoping he'll finally get the go ahead in 2008...

If the Berlin marathon is that easy to sign up for you should go for it!

Apparently it's just first come first served, if there are still places left, you get one. Or so I've read... It's also cheaper the earlier you register...

The thing is, I think it's an easier decision than the half. The half is a long way without as much excitement. It's an achievement, but not something that you remember doing forever.

A big city marathon (rated the 2nd best in the world apparently) on the other hand...
