Default Slimming Magazine

Hi
Don't know if anyone buys this...I just bought it for the first time yesterday and it isn't too bad. The main point for this post is that it comes with a food diary for free and you can send off for a fat percentage measuring thingy also for free. The diary is so cool, each month it has tips on how to lose weight and encouragement and stuff. I need to write my stuff down or I forget really easily what I've had!!! Plus, at the moment it is one of the magazines in the 'buy 2 of these save £1' at Asda so yesterday I got Slimming for £2.60 and got Closer (£1) essentially for free and this week Closer has Jade's diet in it (might be interesting!!!)
Hope that all made sense!

I have the food diary got it last year as well... that's good that you can get Closer for free, I like the 'what's in your fridge' bit.

Me too...I'm never convinced though that it is true...if they asked about my fridge I'd lie and say I have carrots and evian and stuff when really I have vegan chocolate...

I like Boost! magazine by Scottish Slimmers. If there was a group near me, I'd join it, coz it's so sensible. The nearest one is Middleton, which isn't much good. I love that they feature dieters like a lady who took 9 years to lose 13 stone.

i got a slimming magazine once, cost me a fortune and nothing in it interested me at all, all these meals they suggest we try look so complicated to make and half the time i never have the ingrediants in the house

I saw Jade's diet yesterday - well the cover of the mag. If a diet does that to your body - I don't wanna try it! Was it just me or did the *After* pic look as fat as the *before*?

The fat % thing sounds good so I'll look out for 'Slimming'. I get the Rosemary Conley mag which is out every 2 months. I get it mainly for the recipes which are outstanding - but I find the slimmers' stories inspirational too.

I never read slimming mags, although I do enjoy a good laugh at the celebrity diets from time to time in the other mags. I particularly laugh at all the "amazing weight loss" stories where a skinny celeb got pregnant and then lost the baby weight. I know it still takes effort, but it's not like they had never been skinny before.
