October Exercise
Since I'm so proud of myself for actually doing some exercise, I thought I'd go the whole hog and start the October thread!
45 minutes on the turbo trainer :ebike: today AND yesterday - yay me! Janey :p |
Woo hoo. I did an hour and a half in the pool, some swimming, some chatting though - so don't get too impressed, and a nice walk, which the old me would have considered a long walk, but the new me considered a tiny wee stroll.

Ran 10k on Friday morning (I got under an hour for the first time ever!), then yesterday and today I walked about 5 miles each day.

I did my weight training this morning, and swum for an hour, didn't count lengths today, just relaxed and enjoyed it.

5k run, 3.5k level 20 hills and 50 sit ups on the fitness ball.

OK I'm joining the Duracell Bunnies! I keep forgetting to post but I exercise every week day and sometimes on a weekend too! :faint:

day 2 of my split last night with HEAVY WEIGHTS. Kickboxing tonight! :hyper:

Killer treadmill session today - ran 5k in 29.5 minutes then walked 5k on level 20 hills and finished off with a half respectable time for the whole 10k of 1 hour 13 minutes. According to the treadmill it burned off 1200 calories (not that I ever believe it fully, but it was one **** of a workout).

Did full body weights (ow my aching shoulders) and 50 lengths of the pool!!!!

Well, today I went out for a walk, I did 30 minutes, and then some stretching excercises at home. Tomorrow I'll try to do 15 minutes walking and 15 running.

4k run, 2.5k level 20 hills, some weights, and then the :censored: fire alarm went off so I shivered outside the gym for 15 minutes, dripping sweat on the pavement while people walked past on their way to work...

100 jumps in a jogging rope (how awful! I had to stop at 50, I was loosing my breath!) and 50 push ups, off course whit my knees. Later I'll go out for a walk whit my husband. ;)

I might do my Monday weights today, so I'm fresh for Lacrosse practice. |
10/6 & 10/7 - each day I did a 40-minute treadmill walk (burned 225-230 calories each time) and did Gunner Peterson's exercise ball video.
I wish the treadmill was downstairs - I am not allowed to run on it or I'll break the roof. But it's LIKE THE POINT! :mad: |
Did leg weights today instead of tomorrow so I'm fresh as a daisy for LAX! :hyper:

I'm going to stop this falling off the bottom of the page.
I went to the gym this morning mainly because my shower was blocked and I wanted to use theirs before getting some stuff to sort it out, and ended up running my fastest ever 10k at under 59 minutes :carrot: :carrot: :carrot: This afternoon's exercise will be carting a 20kg rucksack around. I pick it up and I can't believe I've nearly lost twice that - it's so heavy!!! |
