I think they taste nice. I'm shocked thought they'd be horrible. Tesco ones are nice they look like yoghurt drinks which is good as slim fast cans look naff. :p I had a roast dinner and ice cream for my tea hope that fits into the 600 cal meal you're meant to have. Yesterday I had chips from chip shop as I was in a rush (very important had to get back for the X Factor).

I'm a freak (yes tell you something you don't know) Why oh why is it that I can stay on plan over the weekends, but during the week I go doo lally????? Can I blame work???? My partner isn't overly on the health kick, but we keep busy all weekend, even when we are doing nothing (he is making me relearn chess) and I seem to just want to eat healthy food. Work is making me fat!!!!!

2frustrated 10-24-2005 03:25 AM

 kyk you really are a freak! The only answer is to give up work and play chess all day! ;)

I managed a weekend day on plan! Then we went out for dinner last night with Dom's parents. Was very nice and I only had a light lunch, so I'm reasonably happy with myself! My 'rents are down today, so I guess it'll be fry ups all round! Well there's veggie pizza and veggies for a stir fry in, so that's what they'll be getting! :p

What do you have at work? Vending machines are bad things. I used to have my breakfast then at 10.30 break have a sandwich from machine. :T :)

2frustrated 10-24-2005 08:08 AM

Ooooh I like the :carrot: can we keep him? Puh-leeeeeeeeease?

I'm eating a flapjack....

YP1 10-24-2005 01:34 PM

I ate chocolate today. And then within 2 minutes a huge pile of free chocolate arrived at work, after I'd paid for mine from the vending machine.

And everyone knows that free chocolate has fewer calories than the paid for stuff ;)

kykaree 10-24-2005 01:59 PM

Oh no! It's very true, the pastries I had on Friday were calorie free, because not only were they donated by a team mate, but it was Fat Free Friday, so in fact, they were negative calories!!!

My neck is sore, I need a solicitor, any takers??? My tram came to a sudden stop today, in fact first it hurtled at great speed, and the internal lights all went off and then it slammed to a stop. No apologies or explanations from the driver, it came to rest inside a tunnel, and it took 10 minutes to get the bugger going again and it rattled and wheezed all the way to my stop. I need to go to the GP but I just don't have the time, sigh. I emailed the tram company but they don't seem to care.

Sigh again.

Work is definitely a hazzard to my health!

YP1 10-24-2005 02:06 PM

I don't do PI :?:

I forgot to say, someone told me today not to get too skinny. As if such a thing is possible!!

YP1 10-25-2005 04:33 PM

Ooh, I found a sale today. Sales are very bad things when there are pretty skirts in them reduced to £10. Too much temptation

Although they're not such bad things when said skirts have a one and a two on the label and actually fit :D

kykaree 10-25-2005 04:46 PM

I went browsing at clothes today, I'm having a huge shop this month. I have nothing to wear, and have decided to celebrate the size I am now (and realistically will be, thereabouts, for the duration of winter).

I actually bought a chocolate bar today, I haven't had chocolate in ages, but along with free food chocolate being calorie free, so is period pain Dairy Milk!

2frustrated 10-26-2005 03:37 AM

 I'm all for sales and chocolate! ;)

Mum and Dad are staying. They brought us a full-length mirror. I haven't seen myself in the mirror since erm... June! I'm so skinny! I have legs and everything! :D I've also shown mum how to do her weights and things, so I'll print out a little schedule for her to stick to. I had a lovely weight day on Monday night, did extra things showing mum. She's amazing at squats! I'm very impressed!

Went to Ikea yesterday. I should've remembered it was half term  Screaming brats here we come! We were there for 5 hours! :faint: But I got a lovely mattress that doesn't hurt my back and a storage bench that tidies the trendy living room and some other fun things! We were at Ikea for so long I missed kickboxing :tantrum: I'm MIGHTILY PO'd about that! But never mind!

Oh and we had pizza and fish and chips and chocolate and mini oreos and things :o being good today until dinner time! I'm treating myself this week for having legs!

Well, I did it. I rejoined Slimming World. I was rather chuffed that I weighed less than I thought. My starting weight is 14st 12.5. I thought it would be nearer 16st so even though I weigh a lot for a 5ft 4 ins person you can see how I would be rather chuffed!

peacock 2 10-26-2005 04:53 AM

2 frustrated - I was riding long past Ikea on Sunday and it amused us (our book club) that those that go regularly to Ikea are those without cars!!

peacock 2 10-26-2005 06:36 AM

Anyone else find that when they go on holiday and gorge on their favourite foods it is a while before you can face them again. With me it is Feta. Everytime I come across it in the sotres I think "Not yet...". Funnily enough I am still ok with eating olives and I absolutely lived on them in Greece. I guess I just overdid it on the Feta and the cheese pies.

YP1 10-26-2005 02:53 PM

Oh no, no matter how much feta I eat in Greece, there's always room for more

Frus, fantastic about having legs, I need a full length mirror now I can bear to look in one I think. I wouldn't be spending 5 hours at Ikea though, whther I came back with nice stuff or not.

I discovered today that people are actually betting on my running ability! I'm doing a 10k at the end of November, as is my eight stone something former colleague. Although she's fairly fit, she doesn't run and I do. I was still a little shocked though when I found out that the bets aren't on who is going to win, but how much I'm going to beat her by :faint:

Chocolate fountain at work today :o. I managed to limit myself to dipping 2 strawberries in it. So that was fruit, not chocolate. Honest.
