Kcikboxing class last night! :hyper: did circuit training things. Am pathetic at any kind of back kick! I suck!

YP1 08-10-2005 01:13 PM

Ouch, the stuff I did on the ball yesterday seems to have worked my abs more than normal...

Did weights this morning and a 30 minute walk on level 20 on the treadmill.

kykaree 08-10-2005 01:45 PM

I've been doing weights today, and I went for a swim too, but horrors, there were brats in the pool!!! Unannounced swimming lessons. Yucko! I don't do kids en masse. I have had the day off today so have been walking lots, looking for a dress to wear to a wedding.

Dippy Chip 08-10-2005 05:03 PM

70 mins brisk walking/jogging today - and I'm down to 196lbs! Yay me!

cat90 08-10-2005 06:13 PM

WooHoo :cp: thats great Dippy ;)

Only thing i've done is about 15mins on :tread: at hospital  but i'm going to do something here once Emmerdale is finished :D

cat90 08-10-2005 08:03 PM

2frustrated 08-11-2005 03:32 AM

Did heavy weights lower body workout - squats, deadlifts and single calf raises, all heavier by 5lbs!! Oooh, no calf raises heavier by 7.5lbs!! YAY!

chunkycarole 08-11-2005 06:38 AM

First post on this thread!

I did some exercise!!
I took my 8 age old swimming, He usually goes in with my 12 year old ,and I sit and wait.
I,d promised we would go and the eldest was doing something else so I had no choice but to take the plunge.
I really enjoyed it and won't leave it so long before going again.
The best of all my cozie which was skin tight this time last year kept coming off the shoulder as I went under a waterfall.
Must try more types of exercise I might on be allergic to it after all

A brilliant run this morning on the treadmill. 10k in 60 minutes and 20 seconds. But hey, why count the 20 seconds, lets just call in an hour :faint:

Until a week or two ago I couldn't do 5k in 30 minutes on the treadmill, so I'm blown away by the fact that I did twice as far at that pace.

cat90 08-11-2005 03:22 PM

Another 40 mins on :tread: last night :) I'm going to do some NOW

cat90 08-11-2005 05:33 PM

55 mins on :tread: :)

2frustrated 08-12-2005 01:28 AM

Double kickboxing class last night. Ow my blisters! OWWWWW!

miranoron 08-12-2005 05:54 AM

Weight lifting and 40 minutes running up and down the stairs yesterday. Will do same today.

cat90 08-12-2005 06:17 PM

70 mins :tread: on weightloss program :D

YP1 08-12-2005 06:19 PM

Weights and 30 minutes level 20 treadmill before work, 45 minute swim after work.

YP1 08-13-2005 07:11 AM

8k on the treadmill this morning in 65 minutes - 2.5k running and the rest walking on level 20 hills, plus some ball stuff.

And a half hour swim this evening. Possibly the nicest time of the week to swim because there's no-one else there. Maybe they all have lives

miranoron 08-15-2005 07:36 AM

40 minute walk yesterday and the day before. Will do same plus weight lifting today.

miranoron 08-16-2005 07:46 AM

40 minutes walking up and down the stairs today.

2frustrated 08-16-2005 11:00 AM

Really heavy weights last night. Kickboxing tonight! Hooray!

YP1 08-16-2005 01:53 PM

7.5k on the treadmill this morning, and exercise ball stuff.

I'm seriously considering walking home from work tomorrow as my car might have to stay in the garage over night, problem is I'd have to walk through some pretty dodgy areas so might see how I feel tomorrow - it's 3 or 4 miles so would be a nice length for a walk after work.

cat90 08-16-2005 08:00 PM

1 hour :tread: this afternoon :)

chunkycarole 08-17-2005 06:24 AM

Hi Everbody
Wondered if anybody else has joined the new bbc big challenge?
I know some of you are way above the standard.
I'm trying to stick to my first week of having five 30 min walks.
Just thought it might be helpful to some.

Carole

YP1 08-17-2005 01:15 PM

I'm getting the emails and tracking my progress on the website, but to be honest it's not getting me to do anything I don't do already. When it first started and it was like walk for 30 minutes several times a week I thought hang on, I already run that far. Still, I keep reading them in case I get any nuggets of interesting information.

2frustrated 08-17-2005 04:09 PM

Not signed up for the big challenge, but I did do most of my full body weights session. Cut it short cos 1) Nearly Hubby came home and 2) My wrist was giving me a bit of gyp!

kykaree 08-17-2005 05:10 PM

I had a good day today, did cardio at works gym this morning, and weights at home gym tonight. I have been lurking on ladies who lift, what sort of changes have you made to your diet frus? And have you been using the protein powder? How much did it cost? What does it taste like? Where did you get it?

cat90 08-18-2005 01:17 PM

What? When? Who? How?

You know i've got 3 giant containers of Protein Powders  and I don't drink it anymore  it tastes quite good actually..i've got Vanilla, Chocolate and Macaroon (would'nt get that one again) I've got a small container of Kinetix Chocolate Shake powder too :T now thats my favourite but its not exactly protein powder its a 40-40-20 mix. I've checked the dates and they are still good I just need to remember to have one now and then ;)

I missed exercising yesterday :halfempty but i'll make sure I do something today :D

kykaree 08-18-2005 03:58 PM

:p I'm a nosey bugger, I can't help it.

Does anyone care that Cat is picking on me in not one, but two threads????? It's not fair!!!! ;p

I did lots of cardio and some tummy at the gym tonight. I am so tired!!!

cat90 08-18-2005 04:08 PM

Awwww I'm only teasing Kyk :grouphug: ;)

Jeez its after one and i'm still sat here typing away with my dressing gown on  I really really need to get exercising

BritinNJ 08-18-2005 08:33 PM

2frustrated 08-19-2005 03:52 AM

2frustrated 08-20-2005 03:28 AM

OKay... didn't manage weights yesterday - fell asleep on the sofa, then went to bed at 9pm and fell asleep!

Will count yesterday as a rest day and try and get a set or two in today!

2frustrated 08-20-2005 12:47 PM

Did 2 sets of everything at heavy weight! Added some flys so that hopefully my ribs will get covered up with pec! ;)

YP1 08-20-2005 01:45 PM

At the gym 6.5k on the treadmill - the first mile running, the second walking as fast as I could and the rest walking level 20 hills.

Then shopping with Kylie, which definitely counts as exercise ;)

kykaree 08-20-2005 04:29 PM

Just the shopping for me, so it had better count!!!!!

cat90 08-21-2005 06:54 PM
