2frustrated 03-20-2005 01:07 PM

 at Kyk! Will done Janey on the tae bo vid! I personally find it hard to get on with Mr Blank! I'd rather go to a class!

I've cycled to yoga class - 2mls

did 1 1/2 hrs yoga

cycled home - 2mls

cycled back to sports centre at a sprint - 2mls

swam with boyf about 12-14 laps

I didn't realise he was coming swimming till I got home and read my messages!

veggie 03-20-2005 02:24 PM

I went mad today and walked 2 lots of 3 miles. :hot: :faint:

cat90 03-20-2005 02:51 PM

Errrr :chin: Do you mean 6mls Veg :?: :joker:  :cp:

It does'nt hurt to touch either Kykaree ;)

Frus :yikes: YOU GO GIRL! :bravo: Hey, have you got a bf and a DH :?:  or am I getting you mixed up with someone else? I thought you've said DH on some posts :dunno:

I'm still sat on my @rse  could'nt even be bothered to put my bike in front of the computer today  will go on treadmill once hubby has buggered off ;)

kykaree 03-20-2005 04:55 PM

I should be so lucky, lucky lucky lucky (well my real name is Kylie.......) He is lovely. And he looked visibly shocked when I said I had a boyfriend (I sometimes call him dh.....stands for dear heart rather than dear husband in our case or d... h... occasionally like now when I am tired and ready for bed and he insists on watching some stupid thing on telly and snores all the way through it...........men).
Except gym man is short, shorter than me and I'm tiny (another thing I have in common with that Kylie, height wise anyway, shame I didn't get her bum!)

cat90 03-20-2005 06:13 PM

 Well, you can work on the bum ;)

Just walked/jogged 2mls :tread: :D am all red faced and sweaty now :p so i'm off for a bubble bath ;)

kykaree 03-21-2005 02:39 AM

I think the best I can hope for is J-Lo bum-wise :dizzy: :D

Well done on the treadmill, I had a bubble bath too, with red wine and roses bubble bath, it were lovely!!!!

I'm off to work now, yuck yuck yuck, the weekends are never long enough

2frustrated 03-21-2005 07:35 AM

Ah the joy of no Monday mornings!

I don't start college till 2pm and work till 7pm! I spent most of the morning in bed!

Cat, sometimes DH and sometimes boyf, it depends what kind of mood I'm in  actually we're engaged and I usually can't be bothered to type fiance! So technically I guess it should be DF but hey you know what I mean - him indoors!

MadamDotty 03-21-2005 02:24 PM

Cat - I'm with you on the legs, my picture is a good representation of me, I'm sooo pear shaped. I'm now about a size 10 around my waist, but 14 around my hips/thighs and getting clothes to fit nicely is a nightmare and I know no matter how much weight I lose I'll always have big legs

cat90 03-21-2005 08:50 PM

LOL Frus, thats what I call mine :) "him indoors"

Dotty, I don't have that problem :) I always go down a size, i'm not pear shaped but I have and always will have I think :( chunky legs  plus knock knees :rollpin: could'nt just get one or the other could I? had to get both

Could'nt be bothered to :tread: tonight  so i'm busy peddaling away and i'm only going to be on this for half an hour too ;)

cat90 03-22-2005 06:48 PM

2mls walk/jog :tread: :stress:

2frustrated 03-23-2005 06:02 AM

Kickboxing class last night!

Dippy Chip 03-23-2005 02:01 PM

Oooh I've been so good - I'm so proud of myself :D ! Yesterday I went for an hour walk along the beach in my lunch break, and after work I did the whole of my taebo basic workout (the only thing I missed out was the pressups as I thought my wrists would collapse under the strain  ). Then this morning I got up at 5am, drove to work and walked along the beach for an hour before work. It was glorious. Just me and about half a dozen dog walkers and more doggies than you could shake a stick at. It felt fabulous to be alive :cb:

Oh, and I've completed ONE WHOLE WEEK on my diet - and I haven't fallen off the wagon once! Now I just need to keep it up for another 99 weeks  !

MadamDotty 03-23-2005 02:16 PM

Well done Dippy Chip (love the name by the way), just keep up the good work.

Frus - looks like you're back - how's the toe?

No exercise to report here I'm afraid, been a big fat lazy lump all week, just can't get motivated - no excuses. :o

cat90 03-23-2005 09:29 PM

Yaaayy :cp: Well Done Frus :) :coach: Now don't go breaking another toe!!

Good Job Dippy :bravo: thats FANTASTIC!

I'm giving it a miss tonight  had a long day at work :tired: (well, not really but it feels like it :( ) and i'm up at 6am so i'm relaxing with Stella ;) (as in..ARTOIS  )

Dippy Chip 03-24-2005 02:57 PM

Hi FCUKers,

Just done my taebo basic workout again...it nearly killed me :faint: :faint: :faint: ! but at least I feel virtuous at the start of the Easter weekend  .

Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

Janey

cat90 03-24-2005 07:04 PM

50mins on razor blade :o OUCH! Glad that that is over with ;)

BritinNJ 03-25-2005 09:52 AM

DC, just curious to what beach you're walking on in Norfolk? Sounds fantastic... I have plenty of sand to walk on and look at out here, but no rushing exhilirating waves to crash ashore. WEll done on the walks... 99 weeks will fly by, wait and see.

Frus, well done for getting back to kicking, hope the toe is feeling better :) You too Cat, you and your razor blade LOL!

veggie 03-25-2005 12:12 PM

1.5 miles walk tesco and back. Not quite the 6 miles of Sunday but every little counts.

Dippy Chip 03-25-2005 02:59 PM

Chris, the beach I walk on is Gorleston beach, which is a couple of miles from Great Yarmouth but doesn't attract any of Yarmouth's crowds except on a couple of really hot days a year. I intend to walk before work, and at that time of day the whole beach is deserted (apart from aforementioned dog walkers). Luckily the hospital I work in is a 10 minute walk from the promenade, so I have no excuse to not be breathing in lungfuls of fresh sea air every day. :D

I've been good today and done two half hour walks AND my basic taebo workout :workout: . I can't believe how much my fitness has improved in just a week :) . Just 8 days ago I could only manage 10 minutes of the workout, and today I didn't stop for the whole 25 minutes. I wasn't a pretty sight, all red faced and sweaty, but I felt like a million $$s :) .

I overheard two teenage girls bemoaning their saggy boobs this morning, and one said to the other "You don't need to worry until you can hold a pencil under them...". Jeeze, I can hold a full two litre coke bottle under each of mine  ! I'm hoping that losing these pesky 100lbs will take me down a few inches, but it'll be just my luck that the old gals will deflate completely and end up looking like a couple of spaniel's ears :^: . On the bright side, at least then they won't get in the way when I'm doing my taebo - I'll be able to fling 'em over my shoulders and have done with 'em  .

Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend,

Janey

cat90 03-25-2005 05:01 PM

LOL Janey  that is so funny :lol3: its a pity they don't come with inner tubes so we could pump them up to the desired size  I'm surrounded by beaches :) but I rarely bother going to any of them  is'nt it funny how you take things for granted when they are "just there" ? :dunno:

I have'nt done anything today  but graze :T on creme eggs and wine gums  going to the shops to price washing machines so might do something when I get back

BritinNJ 03-25-2005 09:19 PM

I know Gorleston beach Janey :) In fact, I'm not sure wthout looking through my addy book if old friends of mine now live there.

Well done on your exercise, you're doing superb. As for the boobs, ROFL at the soda bottle and spaniel ears, you're too bloody hysterical luv.

Enjoy your walks, I'll think about you hopefully without getting too homesick, I'll be ok, Mum is coming out in 8 weeks, so she'll bring goodies... that I WON'T eat, and the homesickness won't be as acute.

2frustrated 03-28-2005 11:05 AM

Have you seen those bras with "pump them up" inserts? if they deflate you can blow em up! :lol3:

TOE UPDATE:

Still a little bit sore and only did baby things at KB but it's getting better! Managed to squeeze it into a cowboy boot  without too much trouble!

I think I'll be doing my ORANGE belt in a coupla weeks so I'd better get practising! I'm also thinking about going swimming every day but I was all fluey yesterday, couldn't get out of bed cos I ached so much. Feel ok now apart from a coupla sniffles, will start swimming on Wed!

tootoot 03-28-2005 03:16 PM

frus i read somwhere that your advised not to wear the inflateybras on areoplanes!!!!!! as they pop.
air hostess's will just have to stick to good old tried and trusted loo roll

2frustrated 03-29-2005 07:25 AM

Ha ha ha!  :lol3:

I think I'll have to get some chicken fillets for mine so I don't have to keep buying smaller sizes!

Dippy Chip 03-29-2005 01:38 PM

Just finished my basic taebo workout...now I'm pooped :tired: !
