Unhappy Buddy Up Uk????????

is there a buddy thread anywhere that is uk i went into the general one looking for someone i could lose a stone at a time with and they were all on the other side of the big puddle
i feel if i had someone there to give me a good verbal bashing when i need it(AND I DO) or praise when and if required it would make this a lot more of a bearable sitauation, yes some of you could say i could get it in the home........ I CANT ......... nor at work .........
im ranting now, wonder if typing uses any calories up?

Smile

Hi tootoot
I'm not far away (in Carlisle), and would also love to lose loads before Xmas - don't feel like setting a goal, though! Too many birthdays and a weekend away before then . Can't manage any serious exercise - not enough time, though I'm trying to walk more. Are you with any programme? I'm with WW, and have got down below 13st in the past, but stress and lack of determination got in the way
Fight the good fight

Talking

Hi Tootoot
With WW, I save two points a day (on a good week) and let go a bit at the weekend. Becos I'm so used to sticking to it anyway, I rarely go over the top . It's hard when you have kids, cos the cupboard is full of goodies ie crisps and chocolate. I survive that by getting Walkers Lites (also for hubby, (whose fault it is I'm hooked on crisps ) and SAJ lite bites and sticking to funsize choccy. I don't think I could eat a normal sized Mars or Twix any more! I know what you mean by having better things to do with your money, am beginning to wonder about the wisdom of going back to WW - although my leader is a great laugh, and v. positive .
Veggie - great idea, lets have fun talking about it!!!!
Oops, the weekend started a couple of hours ago, too much wine
