Wonder if your "bad" day boosted your metabolism and thats were the loss is from Frus? I think you may have put your body into 'starvation' mode and its hanging on to everything its got :dunno: maybe you should try a week of higher cals it might be just the trick you need to get losing again ;)

2frustrated 11-01-2004 04:29 AM

Ooooh don't say that!! I'll be wolfing down all the party food we have left

But yes maybe I shouldn't try too hard!! I only have 3 weeks or less to go, so I'm doing this Red workout with Nikki Waterman (god she is annoying!!) which includes weights and things so I guess that might kickstart me again

2frustrated 11-05-2004 06:33 AM

Ok I have had a whole week off. This includes lots of party food at weekend, finishing off party food....:eating2:

Had dinner out Wed and yesterday was boy'f birthday so we had cake and booze and dinner out!:hun: Didn't go kickboxing on Tues :o was mega tired :tired: and doing college work.:smug: :comp:

Today I am starting over with a vengence!! I made a stop off at Tesco yesterday to buy fruit!:cb:

I've started the day off with porridge and banana! Yummy yummy yummy!

I'm gonna keep to my food diary today, although we have a party to go to tomorrow *sigh*:hat: I shall try to be very very good and only have the odd party nibble!!

veggie 11-06-2004 08:07 AM

Starving not good ;)

cat90 11-06-2004 09:57 AM

 I've just figured out what "19 days until William" means  good job his name is'nt TOM ;)

2frustrated 11-08-2004 06:21 AM

he he!! bless!

It's better than tickering down to weight I think! More of an incentive!

Eats yesterday::s:

Brekky
Hot weetabix

Lunch
Big wholemeal bun with 2 low fat sausages & dry fried egg
(didn't eat it all!)

1/2 packet of minstrels

Dinner
Cheese pasty made with leftover pastry
proper coke

Midnight munchies
3 small choc digestive bics

cals 967 without pasty thing any guesses on what that's worth....? :?:

I guess it could have been up to 1000 and if it was then that's still an ok day calories wise.

Also did some jogging and bleep test on netball court, got up to beginning of level 4. :cb:

cat90 11-11-2004 05:53 PM

Well Done Frus :cp: whats this bleep test then? :dunno:

2frustrated 11-11-2004 06:28 PM

Erm, well you have to shuttle run 15m between bleeps, they get faster for every level. Gets rather hard after a while!

New gadget news:

Bought a CALTRAC (only from the states!) that tracks the number of calories you burn every day! We have been walking around Brugge and Brussels today and it reckons I've burnt 6700 cals today just by walking around! I'm not sure about it yet....:chin:

I'll have to see what it reckons I burn tomorrow when I have a sitting on my a*se day!!

cat90 11-11-2004 11:16 PM

 6700? :yikes: you're melting  sounds as reliable as my kelloggs "freebie" pedometer

2frustrated 11-13-2004 03:07 PM

Lol I was thinking that until today, when I have had a lying around the house day and not really doing a lot apart from I went out to buy some purdey clothes and it reckons I have burnt around 1900 cals, so I guess that's about right??

We did do a LOT of walking that day! Who knows????

Anyway I bet I haven't eaten less than 1900 today cos I had a sausage roll 4 lunch from greggs and then I fell asleep after doing some tidying, then we had homemade pizza with cheese and a scone mix 4 the base and chicken on the top, so I guess today was a bit of a slip up food wise but hey!

Will get back to the grind tomorrow!!

2frustrated 11-13-2004 03:15 PM

oooh! Counted calories up - 1850 so I guess not too bad if we go for a walk ;)

cat90 11-14-2004 02:25 PM

Wow :yikes: it could be right after all :) so how does this Caltrac work? do you have to input any information or is it like a pedometer? i'm a sucker for gadgets :dz:  hmm :chin: think i'll do a search on it instead  cuz I can't wait for you to tell me :hyper:

2frustrated 11-16-2004 12:44 PM

:?: he he he!

Cat it works with accelerometers :?: which are little electronic gadgets that measure how fast you accelerate. I think it must only take into account your vertical acceleration, cos it doesn't get confused when you go on a bus!

You have to input your height, weight, sex & age (I think) and it works out your rmr I suppose, and adds on the extra movement from the accelerometers.

It has pedal mode and weightlifting mode (I haven't tried them out yet...) so you can calculate cals doing cycling & stuff. It's all very interesting! You can even key in the calories you eat. check out www.caltrac.net for more info, just ignore the american empower speak

I'm kinda monitoring what I eat and what it says I've burned to see if it's right and so far I think it's doing ok!

2frustrated 11-16-2004 04:49 PM
