Over 100 lbs to lose - looking for a diet buddy

Hi everyone, I'm Amanda. I am an American stay at home mom living in Scotland with a 9-year-old son and husband. My husband works from 3pm-11pm, so I'm alone for most of the day during school term time. I have knee and back issues so I haven't started exercising again yet, but I will soon!

I have over 100 lbs to lose and am looking for a diet buddy. I have been sticking with a 1600 calorie diet for the last 3 months, so it's nothing too hard to stick to.

This is roughly what my daily meal plan looks like, though I do mix it up. I do manage to always stay between 1400-1600 calories per day.

Breakfast:

4oz Fage Total 0% yogurt
100g sliced strawberries
40g Jordan's Super Berry Granola
Coffee - 2 tsp douwe egberts pure indulgence mixed with water, 2 tsp sucralose sweetener, Alpro Soya Light milk

Lunch:

8 Tesco Multigrain Crackers
100g tinned tuna packed in water (drained)
2 teaspoons Hellmann's Lighter Mayonnaise
Granny Smith Apple
Tea (no sugar or milk)

Dinner:
4 oz chicken breast pan fried in Sunflower Oil Spray
2 cups chopped steamed broccoli
Side Salad
Tea (no sugar or milk), 12 oz Diet Coke

Snacks:
Carrot batons, melon, grapes, chopped raw veg

If you're like me and have a ton of weight to lose, I'd love to be your buddy!

Hi Amanda, I currently have 140lbs to lose and I am looking for a buddy too. Have you managed to stick to your calorie limit? if so, how much weight have you lost so far? :)

hi, I too would have to loose 100lbs to be considered a normal weight and it seems sooo far out of reach.
I just love food and im constantly hungry. I too have mobility problems so im starting swimming one night a week and seeing where I go from there.

wanna_be_free You can do it! :D I stick to small goals to keep myself from going nuts. I started my weight loss journey last May at 245. I'm in the 180s now :D Baby steps!!

Btw I'm also constantly hungry. It's like I'm in a forever state of having PMS cravings.
