Default obsessive thoughts about food

do you ever get obsessive about food? Right now im thinking of one type of food and its ALL is can think about.
how do you avoid giving in?
Ive tried distracting myself with gaming, tv shows, going for a walk and talking to my man but nothing has stopped me thinking about this certain food.

HELP!

Yep I do all the time

I try and distract myself but am always thinking about what I will have next to eat.

It takes up a lot of my time you are NOT alone.

I used to....when I first started this journey in June, 2016. Philly cheesesteaks and hot wings would get on my mind and I would have to have them. If I wanted a Philly cheesesteak sub one day, I would plan all my calories for the day so I could "afford" it, even if that meant skipping a meal. If it was wings I wanted, I ordered smaller servings. Now I cannot eat the same portion as in the "old days." Plan, order small servings, take it home to eat so you are not tempted to order more.

I channel all that food preoccupation into creating restaurant meals at home now. I still crave my old faves (esp. wings), but not nearly as much as I used to.
