Default Getting Back On Track - My Plan

OK, this is my plan for the week that I WILL stick to. It's a long way from perfect, but takes into account the realities of my life. I'm not at the supermarket until Tuesday after work, so not a lot I can do about tomorrow. I will try to add more fruit and veg as and when, but other than that I want to stick to this fully!

I'll also exercise daily, sleep well and generally be more productive with my time and get my head in a better space and myself ready to get to where I want to be!

Any comments/suggestions re the plan below are very welcome!

Wow now that's organisation! I've always been hopeless at meal planning ahead of time and sticking to it. Go girl - liking your determination!

Day one DONE! All that I've done differently is added spinach tot eh soup and blackberries to the yoghurt.

It's only 8.20 though and I will not be eating until tomorrow, a strange concept after the last week of late night eating (read binging). But, will be easier tomorrow, and easier the next day, or that's the plan!

Tomorrow's challenge, the supermarket! Going armed with list, and will not stray!

Got to swap tomorrow's breakfast with Wednsday's as I've no beans in at the mo. Will just have egg though and save bacon for Weds.

Hopefully go jogging in the morning if the weather's even half decent. If not, will do a workout DVD in the evening.

Ellie - I don't class this as organisation, I class it as war! War against that voice in my head that wants me to eat everything in sight. The list gives me a reason to ignore the voice. Weirdo alert ha ha! I'll deal with being weird if it sees me to goal, and hopefully beyond. My biggest fear is being a forever yo yo dieter, so need to find strategies to keep me on track!

Not weird at all - I have that voice's sister in my head! And as a lifelong yoyo dieter, if you can get to target and stay there then it's well worth the war!!

Let's hope we both win our wars then ey?!

Been on the scale this morning, back down to 12stone 2. I didn't dare believe that much of my weight was bloating, but it seems it was, whoop!

Been out jogging this morning, now for brekkie and to make lunch, and to have another on plan day, fingers crossed.

Planned changes to above plan:
Tuesday brekkie, poached egg
Weds brekkie, beans and bacon
Tuesday morning snack, fruit
Tuesday evening snack, grazebox

Good on you. Fail to plan plan to fail. I like the way you forward plan, it helps to know what the next meal is, saves rash decisions! Your choices sound very like the kind of food I like to eat, yummy. Keep up the good work.

Great news re your weigh in TC. Hope you've had a good day?
I started a new job today and my head was spinning when I got home. I was very naughty and had 2 peanut butter chunky kit kats!!! Not such a good idea finding them in the shops Oh well, I'm organised for tomorrow and have made a breakfast smoothie.
Good luck

Thanks Milly! I really enjoy what I eat, which makes me even more annoyed when I go and add in loads and loads of bad foods too. It's not like I'm doing it because I don't enjoy the healthier options!

Chocmonster- I've not had the privilege of a PB kitkat, but they sound so good. Glad you've got back on track with brekkie already made, go you! Hope the new job went well

Well today, I've been OP again today, as long as I manage to eat nothing between now and bed time, bring on the challenge! Shouldn't be too hard, I'm stuffed!

I did accidentally eat Thursday's tea tonight, whoops! I just got it in my head it was a lamb day today, oh well, will have tonight's tea on Thurs!

Well done on the wi, TC. Just spotted the curry recipe I did on your list - what did you think of it? Easy to change and tweak to add things you like or to make it non-veggie.

I really like it Ellie, esp to say I'm not typically a sweet potato fan, but I love lentils so it works well! Tonight before I reheat I'm going to cut my spuds a bit smaller, I left them huge ha ha, and add some spinach. I genuinely don't think it needs meat, and that's coming from the biggest meat eater of them all! (Although, I realised that Monday was a meat free day, very rare for me!)

Lunch today, soup and sarnie deal (Thai sweet pot soup with rocket, mozzerrla and parma ham on granary) and a choc orange cup cake. Tasted soooooo good, esp knowing it was allowed on my schedule. I didn't NEED the cupcake, but I wanted it, so treated myself, and now I'm satisified and determined to keep OP for the rest of the week

Glad to hear it. And I know exactly what you mean about it not needing meat - I also rarely put any in as I find it very satisfying on it's own. I also add extras like spinach etc. YUM.
