I've found that too, especially when you watch one after the other the difference in the amount lost between the countries is amazing! Maybe it is because in the US version they have more contestants, and so they stay on the ranch for months, then have time at home - whereas the UK one is a lot shorter.

But I dont think it takes anything away from the contestants they still do an amazing job, and they're all a huge inspiration! :) I'm totally addicted to the US show, and managed to get a copy of the first 9 seasons sent over so, although they're not great quality, I'm constantly glued to it haha :)

Don't think I'd have the guts to go on the show though.

i loved the biggest loser, this is the first one i've seen from the beginning and was in bits at the final, sobbing away like i knew them all!!! I felt such empathy and sympathy and was so jealous at their losses!! They did so well i feel lost without it now and keep searching for old seasons or even the american one!! i think that one is longer than the UK one anyway which is why the losses are more amazing... i so want to go on that show and be trained by those guys:carrot:
